Additional information

Aru vyas
Born, 13th August 1975 in Jodhpur, a cultural capital of Rajasthan.
I am in the field of Drama since my childhood. I used to participate in school Plays. I have done my Graduation in Art's from J.N.V. University, Jodhpur. During my college days I used to participate in plays and competition just because I was fascinated by glitters of glamour world and world of theatre, acting and Designing.
Then the hobby converted into serious career option and I went to attend an Intensive Theatre Workshop by National School of Drama and this is the turning point of my life. I decided to join N.S.D. Now I was blind with the glittering world, but at the same time I have started understanding the seriousness of Drama. After participating in 6 theatre workshops in different parts of India with eminent theatre and film personalities, my soul was started flubbing to do something exciting in the field of Drama that can help me to understand life and its complexities.
I worked hard, prepared my self and applied for entrance test of " National School of Drama New Delhi"
My mind was used to the science and my soul was ready to go deep into the field of Art. In July 2000 I became the student of Asia's most renowned theatre training institute "National School of Drama, New Delhi"
During the course I had choose "Design & Direction" as my specialization because I was very keen to study human activities and behaviors and how to handle and convince a human being and this can possible only by "Design & Direction".
I want to know more about Drama and theatre by reading books and visual libraries of N.S.D. but the mind of science student was always troubling and asking me that,
1. what is the logical importance of drama in life for a common man ?
2. Can it help a person to simplify his or her life as science does ?
3. Does drama is only for the purpose of raising issues ?
4. The only motive of drama is Entertainment ?
5. Can the art of drama make any affect on the mind of its viewer ?
6. Can drama be treated as science ?
I was going through lots of books and discussions with my guide and one fine day, it was early 2001 I got the book related to drama therapy I have gone through the book and found what I was looking for.
Then I participated in a workshop with one of the German director Mr. Brian Michael, there I got the idea about Drama therapy and its different aspects and its relation with common man.
Five years of deep studies and taking workshops as therapist with children, parents and teachers I found positive out puts from them.
I have developed a module, which can be very helpful to any type of company workers, officers, firms, teachers and students.
Science gives the logic behind events, Drama gives the sensation behind events and the "DRAMATHERAPY" is combination of both to give greater sense of completeness to YOU and ME.
· Currently I am working with Mr. Gulzar and Jaaved siddiqui, as technical Director of "Aap Ki Soniya", "Kharaashin", and "Ghalibnama" we staged these plays in New York, Singapore, Muscat and different cities of Ind
