I am SHOBHA LOLANATH, one of the recognized artist in Kannada Serials Industry. Basically I am a Science graduate with the discipline in IT. My mother tongue is Kannada, one of the Indian regional language. I am in this cinematography industry from past 9 years actively involved in TV Serials and Movies. Some of my main areas of interest are : TV Serials, Print Adds, Theatres, Ramp Shows, Music Videos & Movies.
Professional details
: I worked with several well known directors in Kannada industry. I normaly play major leading roles in TV serials. I also act in Kannada films as a supporting actress. In Kannada industry, they normally identify me as a model lady whose appearance suites with current family environment. My face suits to both traditional as well as modern looks. Because of that I have played both traditional & modern oriented characters. Currently I am playing major negative role in some serials and I got more recognition in these kinds of roles. In one of the Kannada popular serials, I have played old and young woman character simultaneously. Apart from that I am a classical bharatanaatyam dancer. I have performed many classical solos & contemporary group dance shows. As I believe in perfectness , so still pursue my classical dance. I have given many stage programs and shows in Karnataka and other states. In college days, I was a top model and peformed more than 10 ramp shows in Karnataka & other major cities. As I have a good vocal to my credit, ; I have done hosting for state government programs. And for corporate programs I have done anchoring on live shows in kannada channels.

I have worked in around 35 serials in kannada and played major roles. I have acted in some movies, recent one is called 'Bhoopathi', acted as a sister to a famous kannada hero Darshan Tugudeep. I have played major roles in some of tele films, say, 'Just chill' and 'Parivarthane', and these tele films were centered towards woman.
