Carmen probably is better known for her physical appearance and feature than for her talent. She has been dreaming to become famous since her childhood, but for some time, especially in 1993 – 1995, Carmen was forgotten by the public. Being only just another cute face, Electra decided to turn everything upside down.
In 1995, she appeared on the Nickelodeon show “All That”. After a year she got a gainful job and posted nude for Playboy. Having a great body proportions Carmen was included in the Playboy video, Playboy Cheerleaders, where she sang a song called "2-4-6-8". Because of her acquaintance and close relationships with Prince, Carmen occasionally appeared as a dancer at Prince's Glam Slam clubs.
Carmen Electra (real name Tara Leigh Patrick) was born on April 20, 1972 in Cincinnati, Ohio. At the age of 9 Carmen attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts with plans and efforts to become a singer. As a teenage, she was taking singing lessons to improve her vocal skills.
In 1987, when she was 15, Tara moved to Minneapolis and decided to try some modeling for Target department stores. After four years Tara moved to Los Angeles and soon met Prince who was that person decided to change her name to Carmen Electra. He even wrote a song for Carmen after two moths of their thirst meeting. It was called “Carmen on Top” and she loved it.
There was some scuttlebutt about their relationships and Electra once said: "I had this mad crush on him, and every time we danced I'd fantasise about him and what it would be like to be with him. But he was my producer, not my lover. There was a chemistry when we were together and I had a secret passion for him, but nothing happened. I've never kissed him".
Carmen made a big impression by her look and style which Prince noticed and loved, so he suggested her to take part in Paisley Park Records, in 1992. But unfortunately the album and Prince efforts didn’t help to promote her music career and Carmen change the direction.
One of the bigger Carmen’s acts in public was the role of Lani McKenzie on “Baywatch”, in the 1997 and 1998 seasons, where she changed Pamela Anderson. It was not new, Carmen had appeared for several times on the spin-off Baywatch Nights before. Later Electra also played a role in the comedy Good Burger (1997) and larger roles in Indian movies Starfcker (1998), The Chosen One: The Legend of the Raven (1998), and Starstruck (1999).
In 1998 Carmen applied for a marriage license in Las Vegas with Dennis Rodman. But on the following day Dennis agent claimed that this marriage couldn’t be considered legal, because Rodman was “deeply intoxicated”. Neglecting the statement - "I love Carmen and I’m proud to be married to her"- the couple divorced.
Despite all the difficulties in the way to be famous celebrity, Carmen didn’t waste time at all and went further. In the years of 2000 Electra had an opportunity to show on the one of the biggest comedies – “Scary Movie”. On the following year she appeared in Perfume. Then Carmen dated rapper B-Real of Cypress Hill.
It is obvious that Carmen is building career thanks to her amazing body, pretty face and now already famous name. And looks like she is not only charming person, but obviously doesn’t take herself too much serious. In 2003 Carmen was that sex goddess that other women wanted she to call their husbands and boyfriends as a surprise.
