Fashion house Hermès is another legend of Paris. It has surpassed the Baccarat itself when French perfumers Maurice Roucel and Bernard Bourjois created the fragrance 24 Faubourg. Sold for €1700 per 30 ml bottle, the perfume is rated as the 2nd world’s most expensive.

It is a limited edition fragrance produced only in 1000 bottles a year. Of course, the perfume is only a prelude to the arsenal of Hermès, the manufacturer of probably the most expensive handbags in the world, located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Founded in 1837, the fashion house employed such fashion icons as Eric Bergère, Martin Margiela, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Christophe Lemaire (current creative director of Hermès) and still has every piece made by hand.
