I believe in about ten years or so we are going to see a drastic change in the way beauty is precieved during first impressions, viewed from the lense and described in poetry. As planet Earth shrinks as technology advances, i.e. iphone, internet, social networking sites such as: Jurgita, Myspace, Facebook, etc, etc. Humans are becoming more worldly and culturaly aware at a far faster pace than the elders of the modeling industry. The awarness of different cultures, skin tones and flavors, body language, and moral riches will undoubtely have an affect on the modeling industry. And not in a negative way, for how can "REAL" change in perception be a negative consequence? I believe this industry is going to change its peripheral from the Brad Pitt's of the world to the Natives of the Amazon or the likes. Beauty will rely on the instrinsic qualities of mankind and not the preconceived notion that beauty falls into a template where the eyes are aligned, the nose is narrow and straight, the lips are lush, and only as if the jaw, cheek and chin bones are chiseled by Michelangelo himself.
But one rule will always remain the same: True Beauty is within, without doubt, and is only beholden to the chains of YOUR sense or senses.
Peace and Love,
Bryan M. Price
