Hi:
We've gotten our first Tropical Storm alert for the season. Tropical Storm Dean is projected to become a hurrince by mid-day Thursday. It's current track is predicted to bring it near to us, running to our south on Saturday and Sunday. So, we're prepping here for some bad weather. We don;t evacuate the islands for hurricanes...no where to evacuate to. But our houses are mostly made of very sturdy concrete and we're pros at weathering storms. Power does sometimes get knocked out and take a while to return.
Right now I am hoping that the weekend will be the longest I am off-line. But this is just a little warning incase you don;t hear from me for a while. Just waiting for power to be turned back on.
