1st July 2007 - Flew back from Adelaide First things first, massage, food, sleep, BahKuteh, and I don't remember. My first week in Malaysia was just relax, feed ourselves and relax until the weekend. 6th - 8th July 2007 - Singapore Driving down to Singapore at 6AM wasn't all that fun when you barely try to sleep at 4am. Meeting Uncle James, Aunt Irene and Xi Shuen was great. Aunt Irene is one of the coolest Aunt. 14th July 2007 - Malaysian Blogger's Day ( Link ) I'm so proud of this day. Just google it. Be it bad news or good. It's still news. Thanks for broadcasting! This day turned out so well with no major preparation. It was just a party I wish to threw to meet all my new friends. Dear blogger friends, I will compile the list of emails and blogs from the guest book after my assignm ent! 19th July 2007 - Kuala Lumpur Bird Park I don't know whether I WILL or WILL NOT get a job with Malaysia's Travel Agencies as tour guides. I was trying to plan a good informational trip for Tim...tell you what! I was blank. I brought him to the KL Bird Park. Almost went to butterfly park. LOL! I know KL tower and KLCC is a good idea but I didn't have time to make appointment. Our "monthly" anniversary was the 14th and that was taken by Malaysian Blogger's Day. So yup! We took quite a lot of pictures...of BIRDS. This is my favourite. Tim had a Parrot on his arm and a Hornbill on his lap. It was his first time seeing a Hornbill. Atleast I introduced him something new. Now my question is, will you dare to touch a Hornbill? Tim petted the Hornbil's back.... "BaeEeeeeaaaarrrrK!" ......... okay okay! SOOooRRRYY!! 23th - 25 July 2007 - Penang Penang was great except for the rain! I was down with flu and cough after Penang's drizzle. Tim, Kit and myself took a nice comfy coach to Penang. Our main reason to Penang was ......... "Tim, you must have the food in Penang, man!" Yup. Tim will now say he ate himself crazy. The first day, we had bites once we were in Penang and right after that we went for dinner. It's like this : 1pm - Arrival & Checking in. Kit : Freshen up, k? Get ready in ten minutes. We go makan! Elaine: But....I wanna poo! Tim: Erm...ya me too! Elaine: Sorry, me first. Tim: No! Kit: Er...okay bye. 15 minutes later.... *Brrrrrrrr*Brrrrrrr* Elaine: Hello? Kit: eh..you ready? Elaine: ARE YOU READY?!?!? Tim: 5 MINUTES!!!! Kit: ....okay I come over in 5 minutes. Then after that is eat, eat, drive around, eat, sleep. Day 2 : wake up at 2pm, eat, eat, drink, eat, buy dvd, drive around, eat, watch dvd in hotel room, sleep. Day 3 : wake up at 1pm, check out, drink, eat, eat , I don't remem ber, then go home by coach. 27th July 2007 - Batu Caves with Murugan! A Hindu Temple not too far from my house - Batu Caves. For those who has been looking for nice little bindies like me, this is a place where you can buy them. Unless you know a better place.. haha! I walked into the gift and souvenir shop because Tim wanted to buy a small statue of Murugan for his nanna. While I was browsing around the shop, the shopkeeper walked straight up to me... all I could see in that split second was a thumb coming towards my face. And then, "Nice!" he said and walked away. I bought quite a few set of bindies. Great marketing! He did that without even hoping that I'd buy it. 28th July 2007 - Gallivanter's Booze Gathering This gathering was organised by Gallivanter. There wasn't many pictures because I had 3 functions to attend to~! I was late...and by the time I got there, it was time to go somewhere else. 1st August 2008 - Flew back to Adelaide P/S: Haven't got time to host the pictures...
