I currently have a publishing client for whom I have photographed tropical calendars for many years. They have the capitalization to produce a 'reality photo' publication through print, DVD and internet.
Needs are as follows:
Images must be of individuals in real-life situations from around the house to leisure-time activities. Images are NOT to be studio done or of studio-look. Images must be, or must appear to be, shot from a self-portrait perspective. Models may be of any look, height, ethnicity, race or national origin. Selection of model images per month will be based upon the editorial needs of upcoming issues. These needs fluctuate from month-to-month. I do not recommend hiring a photographer for this project. As an audition for self portraits, I suggest that you not incur such expense. Should we determine that a photographer is needed, we cover that cost.
Clothing styles of images to be presented for review in this audition can be business wear, casual wear, swim wear, lingerie and art-nude. Mix up your clothing and styles. Sometimes, editorial reviewers do not know exactly what type of image they are looking for until they see it. Submitting images in different outfits and with different looks and availability levels improves your chances.
THIS IS AN AUDITION. There is no guarantee that any images submitted will be published. Should your images be selected for publication, you will be paid $100 advance for publishing rights and receive 15% of paid circulation revenue on your image value in each and any issue it is published within.
REQUIREMENTS:
Submit a minimum of 12 to a maximum of 48 of your best self-portrait or home-made images. Do not submit sets with just one clothing style, posing style or look. Mix things up to improve your chances. The more looks, angles and poses of you, the better a decision the review board can make. Please also use some common sense in deciding what images to submit. Remember that this is for potential publication and image sets containing obviously ridiculous images or pornography will be deleted and the sender black-listed. Illegal pornographic material will be reported to the FBI. Glamor images will require proof as age as required by the US Federal Labeling and Record-Keeping Law (also known as 18 U.S.C. 2257) before publication. You will be contacted for such proof should any glamor image be selected for publication.

Acceptable Image formats: jpg, jpeg, png. Images may be sent as .zip or .rar files not to exceed 25mbs. Image size is not to be smaller than 640x480 or exceed 1280x720 for the audition.
NO IMAGES WILL BE USED without an image rights assignment contract between you and the publisher.
NO IMAGES WILL BE USED if you do not have 100% rights to sell the image.
NO IMAGES WILL BE USED without notification and payment to you.
I reserve the right not to respond to each and every audition submission. I receive a lot of portfolio review requests a day and unfortunately do not always have time to respond to all of them. However, not receiving an immediate response does not mean that you will not be considered for future publication. Once your submission is in the database and categorized, your work may be purchased at any time. In such instance, you will be immediately notified.
My payment methods to you are through Paypal, Visa, US postal money order or Western Union. (As a model, my suggestion is that you set up a free Paypal account ( http://www.paypal.com ) as the easiest and most secure method of accepting payment from legitimate photographers, agents and publishers through the Internet. If you have a bank account, Paypal will set people up in most countries to accept credit card payments. Paypal also gives you a measure of protection and enforcement against scam operations.)
