Alot of my recent shoots have been done in freezing water.
I was wondering if anyone who has experience here knows why i get pain in my nipples and thru my boobs from it?
Or does anyone know how I can stop it from happening or do i have to just get used to it?
Howdy.I'm a 18 year old half asian from Ireland who really would love to get with an agency who can get her exposure or anything please look at my profile and get back to me :D

i think you have to get used to it, our bodies react differently to things. i guess that is how your body reacts to cold water. you can tell them to warm up the water a little to make you feel better.

Lol, the temp in the sea and the mountains you cant really change yourself :(
I guess it will have to be taking used to..
Just.. i dont want to seem pervish rubbing them to warm them up..
cause sometimes they really hurt and i grab them specially out in public :lol:

 i wonder why they hurt. the only time i feel pain in my nipples is when my period is coming and i know how bad that can be. i dont think you have a choice here, i think you should just adapt. then Cindy, maybe you should try and take your mind off the pain when it comes and enjoy the pose, you might get carried away and not even remember the pain is there.:)

ah just sometimes the pain shoots thru my whole breast like, but during shoots i dont, between shoots i try to rub them better or after the session is done :(.. its the sorta pain that.. em makes you sorta jump or at least go to grab your breast. lol so bit hard to take ur mind off it but i still get the shots done at least.
Like i remember the one done for the contest my nipples were causing pain for me for i think the whole day :s
I guess all i gotta do is adapt, i was just hoping i could of changed it to make myself more comfortable
Thanks!

Take a couple Motrin before shoots. And drink plenty of water. Dehydration is one of the top causes of surface pain in cold weather.

Motrin is a pain killer that also reduces swelling. Like other parts of your body, your breasts repond to temperature and environment changes by expanding or contracting. The more rapid the expansion or contraction, the greater the likelihood of pain. Nipples in particular respond to cold by rushing blood to the area to try and warm them up. However, if dehydration is already occuring, the elasticity of the epidermous and indodermous is conpromised. So, when expansion occurs, tissue is torn causing pain.

Another thing you might do is, before getting dressed, rub down with baby oil. Baby oil traps in moisture and heat, keeping your skin warmer. If the sheen of the oil might be a problem in the shoot, moisturizing lotion can be used to at least keep your skin pliant but does not have the heat trapping properties of baby oil.

The final thing is, at your age, you are still growing. There is a possibility that the pain you feel is regular growth pain exacerbated by the fact of extreme temperature changes. You may out grow this phenomenon in a year or two.

I dont know what Motrin is we dont have that here. :unno:
I dont think its caused by dehydration though cause i had a few litres before those both shoots.
Also i use that oil spray before i go into the water cause it helps with the water drops to sorta slide off the body easier. But it could possibly be because of that.. like cause they do stay hard for quite awhile after.

I never thought of my age being a problem, maybe thats it. Although, my breasts wont be growning anymore then they are.

Thanks for the information!, ill try drinking some more then usual, and try find some other equivilent to Motrin although id prefer not to take painkillers for something like that, dont particulary want my body to grow anymore immune to them then they already are..
Ill try using the baby oil instrad of the mist too, thanks once again!

Don't bloat though, drinking too much water. Sometimes after drinking a little bulge shows on the tummy and that would not be good for shoots. Increase your water intake in sips. You can carry one of those little plastic bottles with the straw in them and slurp a sip or two every 10 to 15 minutes for several hours before your shoot. Gets your moisture content up in a way that your stomach does not have to all at once store a couple glasses of water.

One other thing: Make certian your salt intake is up. Since people got on this crazy habit of low salt diets, hospitalizations for dehydration and heat stroke have increased dramatically. Without enough salt in your body, you can drink water continually and never get properly hydrated. Salt regulates the moisture content in your body.

Cindy, the same things you would take for arthritis. Motrin is an anti-inflammatory.

However, that Irish water is never going to be all that comfortable. Heck, my nipples would get painful there.
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

YEh me prefering not to take stuff for arthritis now, dont want the body building an immunity. I just stick to those chinese home remidies that daddy gives me for it..
I think i might just get a different anti-inflammatory possibly might be cheaper then one made for arthritis.

and Charles :O:O:O just remember when your over here, DONT GO SWIMMING IN THE LIFFEY!!!!
