Mine are Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha serves her right!!! Just cos she is famous doesnt mean she can do what she wants!!

The judge should have thrown the book at her mother too!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope she skips out of town before giving herself up in june..... Maybe
we can see her on the "MOST WANTED SHOW"..........

This is true!!!!!!!!! "She's in Jail.... Because she Failed.... With no Bail....." (Fat Boys)
HAHAHAHAHAHA

Niall, & Marco:cool:
So the famous has become infamous...& this will be a hard time for Paris to find any friends--I fear the cat fights may raise a cell issue & rock the jailhouse, beyond blues...If she isn't careful about copping an attitude...Even so, there might be those who aren't born with the silverspoon in the mouth waiting to pounce the opportunity for 'toy-time'!
As for the mother, the statements should have got contempt of court...No autographing
that response.
'Hair' TODAY, (Cy) ;) .:. NET=---> Tomorrow! :lol::lips:

What is so amazing is - If this was me or anyone else - They would have
taken us away to serve our sentence already. Yes - you are right S.V. this
is going to be hard on her because from now on - She must learn that she is
like everyone else out there. She thinks she is above the law and everyone
else. One more thing...
I am sure she can make many friends in jail too..... HAHAHAHA

i thot the males loved paris. wats this fruss abt now??????????

She will not do any time....she will be booked and released....sorry

:upset:

then there is no justice there

UPDATE!!!

Paris Hilton will serve about half of her 45-day jail sentence and will be separated from the general inmate population, authorities said Wednesday.

The hotel heiress will spend about 23 days in a "special needs housing unit" at the Century Regional Detention Center in suburban Lynwood, Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

Her sentence was shortened after jail officials gave her credit for good behavior, Whitmore said. Officials considered several factors in calculating the credit, including that she appeared for her latest court date, he said.

Hilton will stay in a unit that contains 12 two-person cells reserved for police officers, public officials, celebrities and other high-profile inmates, he said.

Like everyone else in the 2,200-inmate facility, Hilton will get at least an hour outside her cell each day to shower, watch television, participate in outdoor recreation or talk on the telephone, he said.

The 26-year-old socialite was sentenced to jail this month for violating the terms of her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case. A judge ordered her to report to jail by June 5.

I bet she only stays for a few hours.

"Her sentence was shortened after jail officials gave her credit for good behavior, Whitmore said. Officials considered several factors in calculating the credit, including that she appeared for her latest court date, he said."

Good behaviour? Oh, the thoughts that come to mind! Anyone remember that sex tape of hers?

And excuse me, appeared for her court date? She appeared late, and no-one else would be given a gold star for showing up.

As for Kathy Hilton... that woman needs a whipping, and being forced to live in an average household for a year. No bodyguards, no chefs, no maids, no butlers, no waiters, no insane amount of money at her disposal, etc. Making ends meet while keeping a family together under normal circumstances... can't think of a better way to bring her down to earth.

If I ever become rich and famous, or just rich, I'm going to visit my mother every month to get a decent reality check and a verbal ass-whooping should I need one.

LOL Marie.....

How do you really feel?

 You didn't take me seriously?

Simple: you break the law, you pay the price, fame fortune and mommy and daddy regardless. Whoever shortened her sentence and is showing favouritism because she's *gasp* the Paris Hilton in the FLESH! needs to be bitchslapped.

That, dear Larry, is how I feel. And all humour aside, some form of payment must have switched sides for them to reduce her sentence.

i hate our justice system. nuff said.

Paris' mom said they were picking on Paris and singling her out because she is a celebrity. Crazy woman. Any of us had violated our court mandates like she did for so long we'd be talking a year in jail. We would not have even gotten to violate for that long. First missed check-in or driving vilation and we would be butt bait for bubba.

That child is not even going to get the full rich prison experience or treatment.

I was already looking forward to the sex tape number two...Paris does Jane of the Jungle.

Any thoughts?

Oh, you're so Missile Direct...Way to Shoot the output, MARIE!!!
Ms. Tilt-on the over-rated Hilton gives PARIS, France a pain in the pants!
--No Homophonetic help in that geographical sound alike.:cantlook:
I wonder how many tourists Paris lost this season, due to word association???
Stand in line to SWAT PARIS!!!:lol::lol:
Whether it be :lips::lips: OR :muscle::muscle:. . ."TRUE BLUE" IS The GENE that fits ALL;)

She should have to spend her time in general population with "Big Lucy" and the rest of the "girls". That would really give her something to cry about.

That's the worst way of demonstrating people's envy at a rich person.
She is a young girl ! Maybe spoilt, but a young woman! People ! What are you doing?? Whats going on in this world???

Perhaps, and maybe I'd feel worse for her if she were poor and not very bright rather than rich and not very bright. Not that anyone would have paid any attention in that case - and why anyone pays attention to Paris is a mystery to me anyway. A manufactured celebrity to feed the public's alleged need for clueless blondes? A bad argument that glamour and intelligence should be mutually exclusive? A stalking horse for class resentment, asserting that anyone this side of a guest on Jerry Springer is smarter than the wealthy, a kind of Beverly Hillbillies in reverse? What on earth is interesting about her? Well, no one claims that American mainstream entertainment (as opposed to pornography!) is required to have "redeeming social value."

Feel sorry for her? A little, but through the entire process Ms. Hilton had clear advantages that many citizens do not. She had the benefit of advice from several top attorneys and I guarantee that they all told her to obey the court. They would lose their licenses if they didn't. All she had to do was go to some alcohol classes and get a chauffeur. Or just party at home. She chose not to do this.

She gets busted for violating court orders - twice - and then she tells the judge that her publicity agent, forget about her lawyers, said it was ok for her to ignore him. No judge in his right mind is going to put up with this sort of crap. It's contempt. Take it from me, you do not want to screw with a judge; they tend to be touchy about their prerogatives. You'll learn a very fast lesson about who has real power, no matter who you are. Just ask Scooter Libby ... or head down to your local detention facility and ask any single mother who didn't have an effective lawyer, who lost her kids, who's stuck in a system that processes the poor and minorities like an assembly line, who has become nothing but a statistic in the eyes of the state.

Ms. Hilton's actions betray more than a simple lack of common sense and it's beyond her being spoiled; it's pure narcissism. Paris is only a victim of herself and her own myth. Which really is sad in its own way.

Alisa:

This rich persons was operating the deadliest weapon in the world while intoxicated. Do you realize how many hundreds of thousands of people are killed and maimed yearly by drunk drivers? War doesn't hold a candle to the death rate of alcoholism.

It is many times more likely that her money is what resulted in her repeated offenses rather than money-envy resulting in her prison sentence. This was not her first offense.

The American justice system was not designed to punish but rather rehabilitate. Admittedly, it has failed in its mission to rehabilitate, but that is the premise that courts still use.

In reality, more offenders receive probation rather than jail time. The purpose of rehabilitation is to help force a person to recognize that a change needs to be made in their personality, lifestyle and behavior. In sentencing, a judge considers a number of factors to determine whether or not an individual is likely to make that change with or without jail time. Very often just the fact of an arrest is enough to shake up a person and make them do something about their behavior.

A judge considers the type of crime, the circumstances behind the crime and the criminals personality and life circumstances in making a decision. For many types of crimes, for instance, a person living in a poor urban setting is more likely to repeat offend than a middle class suburbanite. This is one major reason why minorities living in an urban setting are more likely to be incarcerated than the affluent. Someone engrossed in street culture actually gains a warped status and respect by being arrested and is more likely to be rewarded by his peers than chastised. This person will not change lifestyles as a result of the arrest but very often is encouraged to further it.

On the other hand, say this criminal comes from a fairly affluent family, has real prospects for a job and education and comes from a peer structure that is shamed and disappointed by the criminal act. This person has true consequences to face and thus has a higher likelihood of never offending again. The arrest process effectively served as a rehabilitation measure and as long as all wronged parties are made whole, there is little risk in probation and a criminal record being the punishment given.

Paris Hilton fell into this latter group. She had a career, money, education and an ability to learn her lesson and correct her behavior. She didn't. She violated the trust of the court and in turn the public whom she continued to endanger. She had to be taken off the streets and taught a stronger lesson than the simple arrest and license probation that she was serving.

She wasn't picked on because she was rich. She was given a chance because she was rich.

She forced the court's hand and had to be shown that her behavior is not acceptable and that she is not above the law. She brought things to a circumstance where incarceration was the only way to do this. She brought it on herself, not a jealous public.

I don't believe it was necessary for money to change hands for her good behavior release. Only a blind, deaf and dumb judge could be oblivious to the public shame and scorn that she is enduring. A judge would hope that this public shame would be enough to trigger Paris's own self-realization of her problems and for her to take steps to fix them.

Her early release from custody and supervised parole is normal within our prison system. And Paris herself has more means than the average person to obtain professional help to solve her problems.

Only time will tell if this prison sojourn of hers did the trick. If she publicly, through actions or words, defends herself against the court system and the incarceration, then we will know that she has not truly accepted responsibility for her own actions. In this case, you can bet the legal system will have more run-ins with her.

Th likelihood, however, is that her family will clamp down on her. She is running a course where, if she ever hurts anyone, the multi-million dollar lawsuit would be staggering.

So, just remember, our court system is not about totalitarian oppression of offenders, but rather, in principle, guided by a desire to make criminals like Paris Hilton into law-abiding citizens.

I thought it would be interesting to watch "Larry King Live" this morning - & Pairs was on (this was her first interveiw since jail.) It was interesting - She served 3 weeks that she should not have served. The cop was going to let her on house arrest b/c she already served the 3 days and she has to take medication for ADD and she "suffers" from claustrophbia so that small cell didn't help. She said she was going to help "MADD" (mothers agianst Drinking & Driving) I think this was a wake up call for her. To me she seemed like a normal girl but with money. :dunno: Thats my opinion
