| Date: 2007-05-29 16:36 Hi all! I've been thinking of taking up inline skating for a while now, and
today I tried on my brother's old Bauer blades and had a go. I didn't do too
badly, but my baby-steps session was cut short when one of the wheels stuck. It
turns out that we left the skates to gather dust for too many years [yes,
years!], and the outer part of the wheels are cracked.
Where can I find new wheels and maintenance supplies for my skates?[Apart from
online shops.] Would any professional sports shop have at least the wheels, or
would I specifically need a skating shop?
The second thing is that as I mentioned, my Bauer blades are old - about a
decade old! - but apart from needing a good maintenance session, they're in very
good condition. And they fit perfectly too! Should I keep them or buy a new
pair? If I can't get them fixed up I'll definitely have to go for option 2, but
if I can then which do you think is more worthwhile? |

you they would more than likely sell some inline skating wheels and such. |
