I got the idea for this topic from the topic "Which cosmetics do you have and use?" from a comment made by Angel.

I love animals to pieces and I would love to know which companies test on animals and which do not.

I'm pretty sure Gillette does.. and Iams (which makes dog and cat food lol)

pantene uses animals in thier products! gross! that is partly why the shampoo and conditioners are moisturizing --animal fats.

gross. ive heard some lipstick brands use whale fat :cantlook:

I found info about it.

Some bad companies:

Braun (Gillette Company),Colgate-Palmolive,Johnson & Johnson,L'Oréal U.S.A. (Biotherm, Cacharel, Garnier, Giorgio Armani, Helena, Rubinstein, Lancôme, Matrix Essentials, Maybelline, Ralph Lauren, Fragrances, Redken, Soft Sheen, Vichy),Pantene.

Good companies:

Avon, Chanel, Eucerin, Nivea, Prestige Cosmetics.

Almost all comanies I know is on the 'bad' list :shocked::D
:cantlook::shocked:

Here are some “good ones”: Apotheker Scheller, Ваrе Escentuals, Beiersdorf (Nivea), Chanel, Chrstian Dior, Clarins, Clinique Laboratories, Cutrin, Dr. Hauschka, Estee Lauder, Green Mаmа, Herbina, IsaDora, La Prairie, Lumene, Lush, Магу Кау, Nouba, Nuxe, ОРI Products, Oriflame, Orly, Payot, Rаdох, Revlon, Seventeen, The Воdу Shop, T-Zone, Wella, Yves Rocher

you would be surprised with how many companies still do test on animals, you would think in a world with so much technology they could find something better. My girl friend is really into animal rights - she is also full vegan and she has always participated in the peta events. Google them! Peta is a world wide organisaion that is all for the saving of animal rights etc, pammy anderson is one of the main fighters for this organisation and she and tommy do some great campaigns!

If you are really into your animal rights you will find much useful information there!
