What do you think happened? I mean, could you imagine what the scene was? Let's
talk about it, mehn. Sometimes, there are people who really have morbid
imaginations.
"Our hearts are drunk with a beauty our eyes could never see."
Are you asking us to speculate on matters upon which the investigators are still
gathering evidence? How would we out here know anything when the professionals
on the scene are still looking into it?
Huh? Scratches head.
No facts, no debate. We just wait.

Regarding people's deaths? I've seen hundreds of dead people and ministered to
thousands of their family members. Yes, I have heard of such a thing as guessing
and imagining. You have no idea the amount of pain and suffering caused to loved
ones by the speculations and rumors spread through people guessing and
imagining.
Let's imagine for a moment that this is your family this incident happened to.
How much uninformed guessing and imagining would you wish me to do during your
time of grief?

Drugs may have been a factor......it definately was not the only one.... who
knows what was happening over the years.

I know this couple personally, and they had a lot of issues. I am sure that when
it all is said and done, his rage may have been fueled by non-natural
substances, but this was a problem that was a long time coming and eventually
just exploded. It is a terrible tragedy to those of us that knew them.
Drug induced crimes usually occur spontaneously and not over a course of many
hours. Per chance one could say that an initial violent act was triggered by
drug use, but what causes one to deliberate for hours and then compound
something as vicious as murder with another murder? The psychology doesn't make
sense except when eliminating witnesses.
One of the reasons why murder suicides are investigated so thoroughly is that we
have no understanding as to what triggers a person to take out their entire
family and themselves. We know more about the motivations of serial killers than
murder-suicides. The most troubling thing about M/S is that we cannot see a
pattern or profile. M/S historically has crossed all boundaries: racial,
economic, family structure, ethnicity, personality-type, stress level, IQ and
psychology. We just cannot predict who will blow when and this is troubling in a
society like ours that constrains people to certain 'acceptable' behavior
patterns.
We see M/S in almost every species of animal. Therefore it is no shock that it
occurs in man. But what is it that triggers a release from our ego to a
subconscious instinctual desire to M/S? Does it occur in a fit of emotion? Is it
rationalized out in advance as the evidence suggests in so many cases? Is it
brought on by depression? What factors in our daily lives trigger the instinct
to end the family rather than let them suffer and starve as occurs in the wild?
Do stress and hopelessness figure a part? What are the warning signs and can
there be intervention before the act? What role can religion or a system of
belief play in relieving stress and convincing people that no matter how bad
things get, there is someone to rely on and that things will be all right?

I think it was a mixture of things. There's some things we will never know. He
was a great guy and he would fly home for two hours in between shows just to be
with his son. I really think drugs were a big issue. It's very sad.
