I took some pics this weekend. I'd like to have ur opinions
:muscle:

You look good and the one you posted here is good. The two on your profile, however, are washed out and that doesn't show you to best effect. I would suggest swapping them for others in the set :)

I agree with Fairydreams. Do you have any others where the colours are richer?

I take it that beach is local to you in Mombasa? I was further up the coast in Malindi last year and the colours in the indian ocean were just gorgeous.

like what the above posters said, swap the wash-out once with better pics. :)

overall, it looked great

the picture you have posted in this thread is fairly good.. my only issue is the fact that your head is cut off. other than that the pose shows off your figure well and photo is of fairly good quality.

as for the pictures in your portfolio.. i agree with the others. they are washed out and not as vibrant and clear as i would like them to be. also.. i really dont like the second pose. the placement of your hand behind your back isnt the greatest. it kind of looks like your hand is coming out of your crotch. and the first pose doesnt show off your figure as nicely as it could. The biggest issue with the photos that i have .. is that your horizon in the background is clearly sloping to the left. and to be honest i dont think your ocean was on a hill.

Try to get to know your body better.. which poses accent your body, and which ones you should avoid :) You have great potentially

One more comment: swimwear pictures like those don't normally get categorised as "semi nude". "Semi nude" normally refers to where you're topless though in the UK we call that "topless" rather than "semi nude" lol.

:D Nice comments. Am gonna swap th pics
:muscle:

I was going to post a few comments then I read Kimberley's post and she covered almost everything I was going to say, sloped horizon, unusual placement of arm etc. All I have to add that I have found I sometimes also get washed out pictures like these when there i
s a lot of backlighting. Digital cameras seem to struggle with their contrast under these conditions. I have found I get better results with a tighter composition and also by using a reflector.

Here are some quick and dirty fixes.

I couldn't level the horizon without cropping the top of your head. But you get the idea

i would stick with the pic you are using or replace it with the enhanced version I made. i think its the best pic in your portfolio. great pose, great expression.

Here is airbrushed version of your head shot pic

It really only works on head shots and half length shots. On full body shots you cant see the details in the face. ie pours and blemishes are less apparent. If you can get some more head shots pictures I could take a look.

Very nice pics. So it must be true what my kenyan friend tell me that Kenyan beaches are very nice ;-)

I just agree with other people telling you that your head is cut off in 2 of them... must be something photographer likes but I think it would be better if it was not like that ;-)

k Mike. If I get more head shots I'll let u know. thanks alot. enjoy ur wknd
