than that. You're 15. Stick with it a few years and see what happens.
One of the things you can do immediately to help yourself is to get some
pictures up that show you more clearly than your current pics. If people can't
see you, they can hire you!
Footnote:
Has something happened recently to discourage you? Why the height question all
of a sudden? Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should |

| Date: 2007-08-02 03:05 At 15, you're unlikely to put on any additional height, so 5'5" is probably the
card you've been dealt.
While 5'8" is the stated minimum for catwalk modelling, with a preference for
5'10" or even 6'0", "modelling" is about far more than just catwalk. To see what
I mean, look at pretty much any magazine at your local newsagent and see the
pictures in adverts, beside editorial features, as well as on the cover. Those
are all models, and the market for those is massive.
For now, I'd suggest sticking with it, get some experience with local
photographers (you can often find amateurs who will be happy just to have a
willing model to build their own experience at the same time), then build your
book and take it from there to the agencies.
It all takes time, it all takes effort, but nothing would be worth it if it was
easy |

Let me ask you a question, how tall are your parents? if both of them are taller
than 5.5, then there is a huge possibilty that you become taller than that,
after all you are just 15 wait till you are 18 then see what happens, my advice
is just eat well and take good care of your self.
Do as Carib Goodies says "get clearer pictures of your self" then try to focus
on your body parts that are perfect i guess that will work for you. Check out

All the best.

don't be discouraged.
height isn't the only requirement in modelling. there are other areas than
catwalk modeling (which requires height).
trying commercials, advertisements, etc.

| Date: 2007-08-10 09:17 i think i can understand her concerns ....most of the agencies you would go to
would expect or require you to be 5'8 .... i too was in the same position until
i recently realised that there is more to modeling and i just have to work
harder and hang on tight !
so my advice to you is to do the same ...and yes you are till young so you never
know how tall you could turn out ! |
