hi im 16, 5 ft 9 nd reali wnt to become a model and hav dun for yrs. wat wud be the best way for me to get into modelling? can any one tell who they think are the best agancy and photographers to make a porfolio please. xx

Wow Catherine that question has been asked many many times here at forum!
My answer to you would be to put together the best portfolio possible here initially!
look at others ports and read past forums here to learn as much as you can!
Being active here is great as the more you post the more you get seen! Basic salesmanship & selling yourself! Every time you post at forum you can add a new image of yourself for free so remember that for the future!
Be realistic and tell your friends here who n what you are! That way if you are restricted by being a bronze member with limited resources people will know and help! If you have probs with decent photos then add to photo critique here and ask advice, before you know it two or three great photographers will have adjusted your pics for you without you even asking (I HOPE GUYS????)
Most importantly be professional if you really want to be a model, make sure that anything you say online relates to that!

I wish you well & once again it is great to see another aspiring UK talent here!

Ok Catherine Mike is right this question has been asked many times look thru the forum to get the best answers possible.

First put to gether a good portfolio, then go looking fo an agency to represent your looks and i guess thats a good point to start from.

Nice picture Mike :thumbup: but the only problem with posting your pictures like this is that they dont get to vote for your pictures so you dont really know what people think about it.

there is another way i learnt if you have a new picture make it your defult picture so i can be seen in every forum topic for as long as it remains defult. :D:D:D

A great way would be to BLOG at your page regularly! Add HTML photos into your blog! That way the additional photos will receive comment and you can suggest at your main page that people regularly view your BLOGS for picture up-dates! Or use forum to steer them there!

If you do not know how to produce a HTML code for an existing picture, message me and I may be able to help or guide you on what I suggested above!

Well i guess most of you at the site still recognize me since i post often but i leave the pictue for a while till people get used to it and wala the see a new picture just like magic then you would notice that a lot more poeple come to your port to get inspired:D:D

I suggest you should on your own look for a very good photographer first, tell him its your birthday :D and you would like to take a few shots in his studio have hime put his best into it and gather all the pictures ( at least the best ones)give it to and agency and have them do all the professional photos :dunno:.

But if you were to get a session it will cost you a little over a 100 dollars.

When I use to Manage Fashion Stores in Londons West End often my sales people thought they were the best and were very 'Cocky' and over confident, but I would always laugh when they were faced with a Nigerian customer intent on getting what he or she wanted! The sales person somehow would end up with all the wind taken from their sails and left with the thoughts of 'What Happened There' :doh:

Enough to say - Nigerians usually get what they want! Somehow!!

So Jay if money is an issue then please take in all the tips on alternative ways to achieve your aims! I have heard that Oluwaseuns Birthday is every day:thumbup:

Prices vary from place to place...th best way to begin making ur portfolio is to look for TFP/TFCD photographer..from there u'll know how to go to abt it!:muscle:
