I think the two full length photos that you added are more like it Simone, much better! The last one at your page though scared the life out of me, which shows it had the desired effect, however, probably not good for attracting modelling opportunites! Get a couple more varied shots of the real you!

And in answer to your last post to Danute, yes on a limited budget you can do it and any photos you produce can be editted and adjusted! If you cannot afford professional photographs as most can't here - It isn't a problem!

You are definately going in the right direction now! Keep up the good work!
MIKE!

Yea Mike:thumbup: i can always trust you to encurage the young ones. Nice idea on the editing but she needs pictures with better quality at the end i boils down to what you can make of the picture, if it is too small corp or too blur to sharpen there almost nothin you can do.

Simone i love your spirit keep it up and listen to Mike.

Simone,
There are some valid comments above. I would also add that you don't always have to pay a pro, there are a lot of good amateur photographers that would be willing to shoot you for free. (generally referred to as TFCD/TFP = Time For CD/Print). You will have a better chance of getting TFCD work if you already have some good pics so the photog can see what he has to work with. These don't have to be really good but they need to be good enough. There are a couple of pics you have posted here that are not good enough. I am referring to the blurred head shot.
Headshots are very important photo in your port. It is essential that the pic is not blurred.
Here are some suggestions that might help you improve your pics. It is really the responsibility of the photog not you do make sure these things happen, after all he/she is the one looking through the camera.

1. Use natural light - Take the pics outdoors, leave the studio/indoor stuff to the pros. Shoot early morning or late afternoon or in the shade.
2. Be conscious of the background. The pics you have posted have a wall lamp behind you that is distracting. Also the wood background is too similar in colour to your skin tones. I would suggest you go to a park or some open land and make sure there isn't anything distracting immediately behind you. Against a plain wall is ok too just no wall lamps, door knobs etc.
3. Be selective with the pics you post. They must be properly exposed and sharp, especially the eyes. 1 quality pics on it's own is better than 5 poor shots. In fact I would argue that 1 quality pic is better than 1 quality pics with 4 poor ones, as including the poor ones suggests that you are happy with the pics and that they are of a suitable quality . I would much rather work with a model that has high standards and expectations, as I feel that she will be more committed.
4. Include a selection of shots, headshot, half length and full length. Don't produce the headshot by cropping a full length shot afterwards, take real headshots by using the zoom. A different set of clothing per pic adds to the variety too.

If you need TFCD there is sure to be amateur photogs in you area that are willing to help you. Be very selective with whom you choose. These will most likely be strangers and you are a young girl. Make sure you check them out before hand. Any legitimate photog will understand your concerns and should be happy to show you their portfolio and definitely ask for references from previous models they have worked with. Call these girls to find out what the photog was like to work with. When contacting the photog be very specific what sort of photos you are looking for. Also specific what you are not willing to do. Whether it be nude, lingerie, swimsuit etc. You set the rules when it comes to your comfort zone and any photog worth his salt will respect that. Be specific, be assertive.
I would recommend that until you are 18 you should always be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Best Wishes MikeJ

Simone,
Mike is absolutely right, but in the meantime, I hope that the attached edited pic will look slightly better than the original.
