eating habits.
however it's not healthy for kids/teens and pregnant women to be vegetarian, cos
if you don't eat meat, you don't get certain minerals which are necessary for
your body. an also, if you are actual vegetarian and don't eat fish nor eggs,
you don't get needed vitamins as well. so being vegetarian is a bit risky |

agree in certain aspects with the brilliantly stated 'online' star &
luminescently posted Luciana, there is an issue of blood type in conjunction to
requirements for certain diets. Unfortunately for some, the above wonderful
wisdom may not be as readily a valvular attainment.
No secret, simple is best: but supplements for vegans goes beyond both

Food for thought: In the vast uniqueness of humanity, each one must search to
achieve their custom tailored suited health style on their logistically notioned
lateral of ascent to success...So you slip a few rungs, once in awhile...You've
always got the chance, while you breathe, to go beyond trial. |

| Date: 2007-01-29 17:23 I have been a vegetarian since 2000 (I eat eggs and dairy and very rarely fish,
usually as a last resort). Before that I ate a lot of meat. I recommend learning
about it and doing research before trying it. Many cultures around the world it
is the custom to be vegetarian for instance. Not all vegetarians are healthy
however. Ultimately, I don't think it's for everyone. You must listen to what
your body tells you and act accordingly. |

vegetable fat diet. your food intake cannot be augmented, the body augments
itself to the diet instead. if for any ethical reason, people should try not to
kill or hurt other humans for various reasons instead of not killing animals for
food. eating vegetables will not reduce any harboured evil either. |

vegetarian could work for some if you eat either supplements or "innocent"
animal products like fish or egg. Vegan (purely non-animal diet) looks like a
horror for me, as there is little chance to get healthy amount of proteins. I
think such diet would do horrors for growing kids.
Anyway, a healthy adult can choose himself what to eat. |

I respectfully disagree with your opinion here. You can get just about all
essential vitamins, minerals, nutrients from a vegetarian diet. I don't want to
bore you with all the details, but here's a partial list of sources just for
vitamins...
Vitamin A: Green leafy vegetables, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, wheatgrass
juice
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine): Whole grains, nori, wakame, legumes (especially
peanuts)
Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin): Green vegetables, whole grains, beans, legumes,
nutritional yeast, hiziki
Vitamin B3 (Niacin): Whole grains (especially brown, black and red rice),
posole, masa, nori, wakame, peanuts, nutritional yeast
Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid): whole grains, beans, legumes, mushrooms, nuts,
nutritional yeast
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine): Whole grains, leafy green vegetables, dulse, nori,
nutritional yeast, carrots, peas, sunflower seeds, walnuts
Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin): Current scientific research has concluded that
there are no reliable sources of B12 in plant sources, so it is best to take a
supplement daily in lozenge form
Biotin: Soybeans, nutritional yeast, whole grains
Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid): Citrus fruits, bell peppers, chiles, amaranth,
berries, cabbage, parsley, sprouts, tomatoes, Brussels sprouts
Chlorine: Soybeans, whole grains, legumes
Co-Enzyme Q10: Peanuts, spinach
Vitamin D: Sunflower sprouts, fortified soymilk, fortified vegan cereal
Vitamin E: Nuts, seeds, wheat, oats, quinoa, brown, red and black rice,
broccoli, cauliflower, dandelion greens, sprouts, asparagus, cucumbers, spinach,
wheatgerm oil
Folic acid: Microalgae, sprouts, leafy green vegetables, whole grains,
nutritional yeast, dates, beans, legumes, mushrooms, oranges, beets, fenugreek
and root vegetables
Inositol: Whole grains, nutritional yeast, beans and legumes, especially
soybeans)
Vitamin K: Alfalfa sprouts, asparagus, hempseed, blackstrap molasses, dark leafy
green vegetables, green tea, kelp, soybeans, oats, rye, wheat
Vitamin P (bioflavonoids): Peppers, buckwheat, black currants
Vitamin U: Green cabbage
.......
So,you can get everything you body needs if you educate yourself. And, it's not
like eating meat is safe, good for you, or the environment. For instance, there
are large ammonts of mercury in fish and most meat (in USA) has been injected
with growth hormones, antibiotics, and preservatives and are allowed to be fed
other ground up dead animals (usually old livestock that died--dead chickens are
ground up and fed to cows and vice versa). In addition, all the prime
agricultural land that is devoted for grazing and growing crops to feed these
animals is wasted becasue we could feed over four times as many people if that
land was used to grow food for people. And don't forget, eating meat
causes high cholestorol and is linked to several different types of diseases
including many types of cancer. FYI: The best way to get all of your vitamins
and minerals is through juicing fruits and veggies!
ps what else do rabbits like to do besides eating veggies? |

You can be as healthy as a non-vegetarian by replacing the meat by other food.
He actually knows what he is talking about, he mentioned Soymilk and not Milk
when most vegetarian people do the weird mistake of inserting Cowmilk in
vegetarian food.
Besides, according to several Scientists, Human beings body structure and instincts are
non-carnivorous. We have evolved from the anthropoid ape by eating fruit and
vegetables..
But theres many bad things about being vegetarian.. and those things would
be:
- the Society.
Examples: When you eat out, you have to get information if the restaurant has
Vegetarian food, also if you eat at a friend's house you have to call first
warning him he/she has to prepare something else to you, your children at school
might not get vegetarian food at all, etc.
Please note that Giedrius Majauskas stabilished the diference between vegetarian
and vegan wich would be that vegetarian don't take any meat based products and
vegan don't take any animal-products.
But after my experience when performing in this active tourist restaurant, I
noticed that in most countries there was no such diference. Vegetarians actually
didn't take any animal products at all, they actually only ate fruits and
vegetables (like pizza without cheese too) and never heard of such word - Vegan
(In my country there isn't such thing as also).
- So actually when I say Vegetarian, I allways mean Vegan for those who use that
word.

to eating meat beforehand. If you ate meat on a daily basis, I would not
recommend become a vegetarian. |

SOY SORRY ...That I didn't post in detail ( on this topic), cause I drink

All I can Verify is (:lips It's a RUSH...getting PURE JUICE...Nothing like it...The way it

ID: 114505 Posts: 916 | Date: 2007-03-07 11:25 There are actually different classifications of Vegetarians (to which I am to belong
to...with balance
)
...AND, this could bring a headlight heap of understanding...
Here's the Plant Fancier's Haven to the digestible eligible elite edible
'octane' on the menu-to-go LIST
1) Total Vegetarians eat only plant food...No animal foods, including the
no-no's
of fish, eggs, dairy, & honey.
2) Vegans omit ALL animal products from their diets, & the rest
of their (exterior) life, as well...[No leather, wool, or silk is in their
belongings].
3) Lacto-Vegetarians include dairy products with their plant food
menu.
4) Lacto-Orvo-Vegetarians utilize both dairy & eggs to supplement the
existing foundation of their diet.
5) Pesco-Vegetarians probably know how to skin a bone the BEST, when it
comes to Fillet-O-FISH.
AND, Cock-A-Doodle DO...LAST, But...NOT LEAST of all=--->
[Some real food ]
6) Pollo-Vegetarians This is a palatable sequence gone perhaps
health-consciously frierlessly fowl...
Poultry: Chicken, turkey, duck.
