must be addressed & should be dealt with in private, in order for the site's
well being to stabilize.
Requesting immediate attention from administration...
This is going to damage the site's reputation if left unattended.
I'm sorry to bother you--As you have dealt with alot, lately.
THANKS--Sincerely ,
Tekhanei |

another forum will just transfer the same debate over here. I realise the
mallicious topic has been locked tho. |

LUCIA:
I am well aware of the ticket...AND this will be closed.
It was only to alert ADMINISTRATION...NOT to re-engage the
extension of another spin cycle. |

| Date: 2007-09-13 09:48 I understand your wish for Jurgita involvement on this issue but I would say
that:
Closing the initial forum will lose the thread for people! They will comment on
things at face value here and not go to view the original content!
Yes it needs sorting, but there is much more involved which was unfolding at
that forum and now asl the thread will be lost!
I would disagree with the suggestion that this needs to be sorted in
private, several members were asking questions and inviting response at the
original forum, members need to know answers!
Well done this site for losing the thread! In fact I am yet to find where this
new forum is!
I had to go through Lucias posting links to find it! |

for members to interact with ideas and experiences in this industry. Sensitive
issues isolating specific members about inappropriate behavior or concerns about
their potential actions should be fowarded to the administrative department for
recourse, not used as tabloid fodder in the forum. Also, the reason Tekhanei
posted this here first is because she knows a ticket takes much longer to get
responded to because of the extreme amount of traffic on this site. Do to the
importance of this issue, she needed to implement some sort of resolve
immediately.

Well said Dominic.
Well I can understand now regarding the speeding up and not going the ticket
route as we all agree this does need resolving!
I am still un-certain just how many non-moderator members are aware of the
ticket system yet? I know that I have only just become aware of it Larry! |

| Date: 2007-09-13 14:42 Ladies and Gentlemen,
Please, let's resolve the matter as it has dragged on for several days now. Yes,
it should have been private-- that is why my initial email to Mr. Spendlove was
sent "privately". It was he who shared this with all of you. ...It is too late
now for that. Let's figure out where to go from here and what action needs to
take place.

| Date: 2007-09-13 15:36 At this point, unless the party in question originally decides to wade back into
the foray, I think this individual matter is closed.
To the original situation:
Obviously, there is nothing wrong with questioning the intent of someone that
contacts a child. It is prudent and wise. No one will disagree with that, and
should never ever be offended. My advice to those recieving questions of that
nature is to deal with it. Plain and simple. Always word contact with children
approprately, act professionally and be honest. Expect to deal with questions,
especially from parents. That is part of the job. If you dont like it, find
something else to do. Good parents ask questions. Period. Keep in mind, this is
the internet world.
Also, I would suggest that in the future, people keep private matters private,
and questions with regards to the security and safety of our site be
initially addressed to administration or moderators. If someone
receives a malicious email, block the sender. If they slander you in the forum,
contact a moderator. Again, this is a simple process. Drama is not needed or
desired by anyone.
Now, cant we all just get along?
Have a great day! |
