I m straight my friends and all are straight i havnt seen any one who is
gay...

I could be wrong, but I think the reason why on TV, male models and
photographers are portrayed as gay because it has been stereotyped so much. Same
as the stereotype that all models have the IQ of a goldfish. Plus, its more
appealing to TV audiences if these characters are gay because it allows the
character to be as outrageous/flamboyant as possible and more room for plot
development/comedy. I think its sad that for some reason being homosexual has
become some sort of comedic gag  . |

their sexual orientation but those good looking guys always seem to have
attractive girls with them. 
I believe most people perceive male models to be gay because of
the stereotypes surrounding the profession. How those stereotypes formed, I do
not know, but it may have something to do with the profession being one that
most people associate with females. Can anyone name a male supermodel? They
exist. There are men who go for $50,000 and up a pop.
As a matter of fact, males generally get paid more in this
industry than females because there are so much fewer males desiring to be
models than females.
But take a look around you...in magazines, TV advertisements, Billboards,
movies, Broadway...men abound! They are not the eye candy that females are
perhaps simply because females do not react to a male body the same way that a
male reacts to a female body.
But, most male models definitely are not gay, just like being a male nurse, male
flight attendant, male waiter or male dancer does not make one gay. By the
way...those are all professions that originally were solely male! Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should  |

Sorry, just expressing a comment..
Not all people that are not interested in you are gay. A girl might be not their
style, but to cover her lack of success with them she might start rumours that
they are gay. Though they might be calling themselves so to get more atention,
more publicity.
Not all people that keep metro-sexual/feminine image are gay. This is a job,
