Hi,
Sorry I know another topic about friend requests :upset:, but this is in accordance to something that someone else asked me. Is it true that you can only have an "Add as a friend" option if they are part of the Flirtzone option in Jurgita?

Thanks for bringing it up, Margaret:D...I think there should be an option to separate both flirt & model state, without losing your friends links in your port.-- BUT it would mean too much work for administration to revamp ea. profile--YIKES!!
From your point of view, though:.
Perhaps this would serve as a stronger filter for what initially comes a person's way.
Otherwise, all you can do is post announcements in your portfolio & at the forum stating your purpose, & hoping people will read it & catch on.
I.E., e.g...Marking the emphasis on Socializing & Pen Pal status...If that's what your current situation requires...TTFN--Ta Ta For NOW!:cool:

That is true, it would mean a lot of work on the adminstration's part and it's not that much of an issue as its seems to be fine for now. But in the long run it would be a good idea. Yeah at the moment I only set it to socializing and pen-pal, and I don't have any complaints in terms of meeting people through Jurgita.

I myself think that it is unfortunate that Friends are only part of the flirt zone. I have many male friends and I assure you I am not Flirting with them!

I don't agree with getting rid of the Flirt Zone or changing its name. I believe that if you want the site to be a social gathering place rather than just work, work, work, a little flirting can be fun and, if two people want to meet a potential life partner that way...hey, what harm done? Two consenting adults participating in a zone where both have pre-cleared the fact that they are approachable.

However, by isolating friendship within the Flirt Zone in order to have friends I am being forced to consent to having girls (and guys) asking me out. (More so now that emails are free!) and when a girlfriend or boyfriend looks over your shoulder and sees that you are in the Flirt Zone...oh, such an ego and confidence deflater for your alter ego.

OK...yes there is the bookmarking system, but that is not the same as having a posted friend. Neither is the eMail system. What choice words to use as an introduction? Much easier and less embarrassing to be able to click the Add Friend button!

I'm not saying that I want to change the Flirt Zone thing but it would be great that there was the option to add friends without having to join it. As for having girls (and guys) asking you out, I guess you can consider that to be a compliment :D
