Many people ask me if I have ever thought of modeling. I have the confidence to
think that I could be a model. But I was just wanting all of your opinions.
Check out my profile for some pics and if you would like for me to upload more
photos for a better observation of me, then please do ask. I want the most
honest accumulated opinion from you all.
Well, I cannot see your physical shape in any of the photos. Additionally, I
cannot tell what the angles of your face are. Your face is distorted by the
closeness of the wide angle lens you are holding. That is one reason why these
popular hand held point and shoot self portraits are bad for portfolios. They
radically distort your face.
You asked for honest. I honestly cannot gauge your look from the images you have
provided. You say you have confidence...well, hand the camera to one of your
friends and let them take the pictures for you.
Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should
Thank you so very much for your honest opinion. If I can find some pictures of
myself from a further distance than arm's length, then I will post them very
soon...otherwise, I will need to have a friend take some photos of me.
I think I might have some senior pictures that I had taken by a photographer.
That was little over a year ago, but I haven't changed dramatically since
then.
oh..and...thanks for the knowledge about the wide angle lens....I have never
noticed much of a difference between my photos and my actual self...neither has
anyone else...and I still don't notice much of a difference.(but you did say
that it was a radical distortion)
I've just uploaded a few more photos.
One was taken by a friend during a stop at at shop on my vacation/trip to
California.
The others were taken as my Senior pictures for high school, but they lack the
correct colors due to my scanner. It has never been very good at all with
grasping the correct colors.
Let me know any further information or knowledge that you have on these.
And my original post.

It's better, but the jacket is still hiding your body shape,
and it's only 3/4 length rather than being full length.
It would also help us to give you better feedback if you had a model profile
rather than a member profile, as model profiles show the important stats such as
height etc.
The other thing I'll recommend is that you get pictures showing different moods
or expressions. Using the internet for modelling is almost inevitably going to
be harder for guys than it is for the girls, due to the hobbyist element, so you
have to work harder to get recognised as being "special". Just remember that
modelling is more about selling something (be it clothing, a product, or
an activity) rather than about selling you unless you're talking about
glamour, so try to show that you'll be able to engage the viewer.
True, your portfolio is about selling you, but only in the sense that
it's showing off your skills and abilities to a prospective employer.
Jeff...I'd say u have th looks but there is more to it that is needed to get
