I've had it with all the fictious names and strange 6'1" 37 pound wannabe browsers signing up. If they can afford to be on a computer, they can afford to post a picture of themselves.

I suggest that they must submit a phone number and address in their initial submission. It's getting easier to verify such things with a internet search. It can be kept private in the public area on request, but not from moderators and administrators because, let's face it, we have a lot of creeps coming here.

The same goes for photographers. Full addresses and contact information and samples of their work.

How about it guys?
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!

It is plain silly these so called photographers with no photos. I would be all for it if they deleted all those profiles or placed them in a seperate file from the other photographers at least.
Profiles that has been inactive(by their owners) for a few months should also be moved to a inactive file and maybe deleted after a certain time of inactivity.
I fully support your suggestions Charles, it will go a far way to filter some of the creepy types out.

Yes, I was told there is someone named David Bowie-- can you believe that? All of the BS names should be looked into. (They are here for reasons other that legitimate work.) Charles is right, I say we verify them or they are out of here. There are SO many people here with actor/actresses names or names in the music industry. They don't want to give their real names because they are up to no good...

Exactly..am up for this..probably it would reduce the many scam cases we've been having. Altho one can give a wrong address but prove of work is a must. :muscle:

I agree with all said here. It's a visual industry. If you can't come up with a photo how serious are you? Really?
