From my own checkered past, I know that even the most amateur of hairdressers have photos of their best work. Actors have stills, singers have publicity photos, producers have credits, designers have graphics or slides. Let's ask that some proof of work be submitted, even for the amateurs.

Producers and agents, on the other hand, should have a physical business address and a client list or production credits. It's that simple.

Let's do it.
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

Hear, hear! 100% agreement. Professional standards. What an interesting concept.:thumbup:
:cantlook: Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should

Nice idea:thumbup:

Personally I do not verify profiles which do not follow some the things you have listed. Each profile must look like a real profile. If its a producer than there must be chosen his work sphere, written address, biography, work experience and similar.
Actors, dancers, singers, designers and even stylists have to have photos. If it does not have a photo than it should be clearly written in the biography that he/she is a student and does not have work examples but is really going to purchase that career.
Many things are not written in the help articles but its clear. From the tickets I get there are 98% of the people who have not read the articles and are frustrated why they are not verified, so there is not much point to write everything in the article and make it much longer if there still are not many readers for it.

Rasa...You hit the nail dead center on that comment...I often wondered what the percentages were that you had to 'aggonize' over.
I sympathize with ya;)

:D
PS I think what happens more often than not...at least I have witnessed this with the various singers accounts, is that people who join would rather have some one discover them, than put the work into it first, in order to build before being discovered.
Amateurs don't always understand. And some people that just like to sing for fun that belong to the flirt zone, just want to attract people with their similar tastes in music [Same concept, at times, goes for others who sign up under various different talent categories that Jurgita's site offers.]...many, unfortunately aren't as serious as others feel they should be...Some just want to play for fun, not pursue the higher end. Perhaps it is where they feel safer on that level.
I believe you already have considered this speculative, but many may not, and need to rethink it through.:)
Hope this helps elucidate matters for the upcoming joinees...As long as they read the forum...Fingers crossed.X.
Whether it be :lips::lips: OR :muscle::muscle:. . ."TRUE BLUE" IS The GENE that fits ALL;)

Good Idea. :)
