i see new ads too here on jurgita. some look too good to be true and they get
some ppl from their own country asking what they are talking about.
this means they are scam, because if something is happening in my city, and i am
a photographer or model, surely i will hear about it, especially if it is a big
event.
YES, THERE ARE SCAMS HERE. be careful.
you owe it to yourself to check the references and resume.
before doing a job with someone, always ask for reference.

of the African countries (No Disrespect to the whole Continent, it is purely an
observation), many profess to be Uk Based and mention such everyday names as
Essential magazine etc!
Warning signs should be:
Poor Grammer used in approach letters!
No corporate e-mail address visible!
No links to actual sender ie: Past Successes etc!
With the Uk Scams it is not enough to assume that a contact number commencing
with the correct country code is enough, ok 044 or +44 is Uk yes, but these
Scams now include the following codes:
04470 or +4470 These are in fact premium Line codes, they can be operated from
anywhere in the World, they are diverted via the UK and can cost the caller
anything up to £2 (US $4) a minute to call!
So these scammers try to get you every - which - way! If you enter into the scam
you lose or if you enquire at the number you lose!
So leave well alone if you get such an offer! Remember:
The likes of Essentials Magazine and other large Magazine Groups do not use
Freelance people who approach in this way, they have no need to!
If you receive any suspect offers and wish to confirm the source of such e-mails
you can try verifying the origins of the e-mail at somewhere such as this:

You really need to go to 'Tickets' and tell Jurgita your thoughts and give those
links, they can check out things like the girls IP etc and whether the IP has
other profiles and history like that! It could expose who they really are and
give you a quicker answer!
Many of the Dating Scammers from Russia and Nigeria joined here when Jurgita
opened up the Free Profiles to Free Messaging a short while back, it seemed to
bring an influx of people who wanted to Marry everyone without even knowing them
You know the usual stuff If you have outside e-mails from such people and want to know
where they originate, then I can provide you with a link that can identify that
for you? Ok That is not conclusive, but it is useful when sorting the African
Scammers who say they are UK based (Just one example) |

Well we are on the same wave-length regarding that! Hence my saying in
recent forums that not all Companies are Scammers, often the soft approach ones
as friends or Models could be suspect! Terrible to say it but true! |
