furniture.. appliances design.. good for practice..  and fun to do..
There are also other serious programs where you get to make a house.. a design..
like 3dArchitech software..
i once wanted to be an interior designer but i found out that for starters it
would cost you alot.. buying furnitures and stuff.. |

I see so many in the Uk set themselves up as so called 'Interior Designers' most
do not have any more talent than their own particular IKEA efforts in
transforming a room and that it hardly design and imagination, it is purely
putting together ideas already marketed for them and available via catalogue to
those people!
Like everthing whether it be cooking or fashion or whatever is your thing! you
have to have a love and a feel for it, I love cooking and attempt some real
difficult things and simply love it that people say wow you should have a
restaurant, no I shouldn't cos I want to keep it as my thing I enjoy!
Interior design has become one of those advisory market places where people
think that by knowing of certain this year looks and products available they can
establish themselves as a so called artiste in that area! there are very few
true advisors in that field who actually have vision and can continue a business
via this, those who do are just lucky enough to link with a rich client that
simply has not got the time to do those things themselves!
And they are the lucky few!
I have some great and funny examples from the Major furniture company that I
worked for here in the UK! It could be a forum on its own |
