ANYONE. No one needs that in order to pay you.
Never, ever, ever, ever pay for the studio. Even if they send
you a check to cash and do so.
We never, ever, ever, ever send a part payment or 'advance' to
people we do not know. Email and web portfolio does not count as knowing you.
When you get a job as a secretary or nurse or something, does your boss send you
a check in advance to come and work for him? NO. Of course not!
So why do people think that modeling is any different. You get paid after the
work is performed. Yes, there are exceptions to the prepay rule for
established models and agencies, but generally that model or
agency sets the terms, not the customer.
And anyone serious either knows English or will pay someone to properly
translate their proposal into correct English or correctly into whatever
language needed. The offer above is in English so bad it is difficult to fathom.
A serious indicator of a scam.
I have been told by so many beginner models that they have been victimized by
this sort of scam that I want to scream. Please, please,
please, people...do not let your desire to model blind you to common
sense! If a person walked up to you on the street and made you such an offer you
would run screaming, right? Please exercise that same paranoia in dealing with
these scam artists. Both your wallet and your credit rating will suffer. Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should  |

the FBI. Sitting on the check and laughing about it does not help all the other
poor people who are not as smart as you in catching his scam. Scamming will not

scammed out of.... I was sent a couple of messages a week or two ago from a
"scout" who likes my profile and wants to offer me the contract of being the
face of an american car company... they asked for my name address phone number
and occupation, so that they could "send me an advance payment" I figured I
would send the details as they had not asked for any bank account details. I
have not heard back from them since and I am wondering what they have done with
my details. The so called scout still has an account on here he is under the
name of Lewis Morgan or lewismor101.
I do not know for certain if I have been scammed by this person but I'm kinda
