..and this time.. a different problem. I arrived at the location in the morning
to shoot some landscape.. and later contacted Erza for a quick session. She
agreed but will only be available in evening. The place was horrible in the
evening.. full of mosquitos.
Nope.. no repellant. She can't stay still for a second.. i guess the session
only last 10-15 minutes. Can't handle them. There goes CLS i planned in the
morning. However, i do have plan to go there again.. but early in the morning..
morning light might be beutiful.
Seems like neither you or Rihirza can take a bad picture.
Locally for mosquitoes we use something called Citranella. It comes in sizes up
to 1 gallon buckets. It is a yellow gel with a wick in it. You light it and
mosquitoes run.
I like the first image with just two minor suggestions. 1) Have Rihirza put a
cast on her broken left ankle before it gets worse. 2) I would have
opened the aperture up to reduce depth of field and blur out the background.
Sort of like below. (I hate working on this tiny uploaded images, but I gather
you get the point.) Puts the model in sharp contrast to the background. Pops her
out. You got the idea on the third image posted. Nice depth of field there.
By the way...I think the choice of outfit colors work well with the rustic
boardwalk. The rough wood work with you caught in sharp detail also contrasts
nicely with the smooth, supple lines of the model.
Good work both of you.
PS: Hope you don;t mind me toying with your image.
Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should
1 gallon..? That a lot to get mosquitos run. But it does sound practical. Not
sure if i heard about it here. I think they have it in lotion.. spray and coil
that we burn(both not practical for outdoor). The broken ankle (he he.. sorry
dear Erza we use the term).. i noticed that but i have quite limited choice..
kept one eye closed. Agree on the aperture setting.. and thanks for your time
toying with the image. Below is another version..
dearest Adi,
Thanks for the photo shoot. It was quite interesting though with those mosquitos
surrounded us.
Carib, thanks also for your comment. Wish to work together with you in future.
