a "common person" here.
Unless there is a photo and all details filled in, I no longer approve. There
are too many fakes ones to make it worthwhile figuring out who is real and who
is not.
But I want to ask about the following one that has been verified already. ID #
207395, Natalia Rodriges (not many Rodriguezs' spelled that way), who is 112
years old, is 5'10" tall and weighs 53 pounds. Did you note the single picture
looks like a 12-year-old?
Am I crazy, or does someone else see a problem with this profile.
Even with pictures, we can't be sure it isn't a fake name and someone up to no
good.If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!

Hope this finds you well...all I wanna say to you is KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK...you
just keep 'em clones/false portfolios out of jurgita...I see hundreds of them
coming onto my portfolio passing friendly hellos and can they be my friend and
the minute I say"sure you can BUT my parents monitor my site because Im underage
" .. and hey they are gone with the wind. Works wonders and sieves out the slimy
characters straight away.
Dont get me wrong there are some genuine ones but I can tell them apart
immediately..especially if there is no photo of them..that says it all doesnt
it?? Bin all people without personal photographs of either themselves or their
work..suspect straight away.
Anyway take care Charles and keep it up and stick by your beliefs!!

I agree with the first one if there really is a picture of a child and the
person is much older or something so just reject it. About the other ones -
please..A person has not given his spoken languages and bought a VIP, OMG! - he
is a pedophile! I am not sure if i given such as well, and I am also VIP! Do you
want to delete me as well?
This is not a good job, this called making troubles of nowhere. Members accounts
are made on the same template as everyones else and there is no need for them to
have height and weight, maybe some of them are complexed people and do not want
to give their bios in public. This site is not only for pros, we also accept
beginners; and members just for fun to have someone to chat with.

without having it changed in court. In fact, having two differing IDs is not a
crime. When one has a third identified alias, then officials
will look askance.
Smiley Face is the icon given for a friendly member.
To my understanding, the criteria for simple membership are wide open and in my
mind, rightly so. The site encourages people to obtain a membership to obtain
more access to the site. Publicity is what we want, right?
I did bring up the question early on in my moderator days about people mixing up
their height and weight numbers. Rasa rightly answered me that in obtaining
people from around the world, some do not speak English well and some use
different measuring systems than the two listed on the site. Height and weight
is not a criteria for rejecting a member.
I know Wilt Chamberlain. He lives on Tortola and is in his early twenties. Nope,
he never played basketball but that is not a criteria for having that name. His
parents were Chamberlain, they named him William and called him "Wilt" for
short. 
I'll knock down a member name that appears pornographic, sexually suggestive or
just plain old too silly to bear. Donald Duck doesn't pass my muster.
People joining up and looking isn't a problem. People speaking crassly or
crudely is a problem and can be moderated out of forums. People abusing the
Email system can be warned or profile deleted.
Where we need to focus on is those profiles registering as industry
professionals, not the members. I say that a model who accepts an offer from
someone listed as a Member, well, that model really did not exercise a modicum
of intelligence.
However, an offer from someone listed and verified as a producer, agency,
photographer, scout, etc. is a different story. Those profiles we should vet as
carefully as is practical given the constraints of worldwide moderation. Model's
depend on our review of those profiles. It is nearly impossible to guarantee the
veracity of any given profile (heck, you cannot even accurately judge someone
you see everyday) so always, always, always a model needs to be alert and
aware...and question. If in doubt about an offer, ask a moderator's opinion. For
myself, when a model writes and asks me, I try and obtain for him or her as much
background information as I an gather on the profile holder and make my
recommendation from there. This includes telephoning the Profile holder and
close associates if available.
But I had not posted to this forum earlier, hoping it would go away. I have a
lot of respect for Charles, but I think there was a minor ethical goof on this
one. I understand your frustration, Charles, but some battles should be fought
in-house rather than in public. Dirty laundry and all. There is a private
moderators forum where we can gather and discuss our concerns, come to a
consensus with Administration and thereby moderate with one mind.
Also, please keep in mind that a lot of people come to this site without a clue
of what the modeling world is like. One of the very unique things about this
site is that one can come here to learn. OK. Teens are hardheaded and post web
cam and cell phone pictures. We rail against them, they do not listen. But
hey...it is cultural! Check it out. This is the norm for them and, dollars to
donuts, I bet you that it is a long term fad and that their style of posting
images will become a trend picked up by advertisers trying to communicate with
them. At least the pics let us see what they look like and may even provide
modeling opportunity for those amateurs when an advertiser decides "Hey, let's
make our ad look like a teeny bopper presentation". I have been in marketing a
while and you, me and Ms Clark will groan when we start seeing print and TV ads
done totally as web cam in a teen bedroom. Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should  |

and attracting advertising and links to other sites, there should be some profit
to the founders.
OK, I accept that. But weren't the administrators the ones who had to hide the
ages of the models because they were catching flak from Google. So, does
anything go now?
If there is to be no standard whatsoever for "common people" or "friends" why
bother having them moderated? I'd rather spend my donated time assessing the
photographers, models and other professionals who supposedly have to provide
some bonafides, than determining whether "Wilt Chamberlain" in Detroit has risen
from the dead, or "Donald Duck" (or Joe Blow and Jane Doe in all their
incarnations) deserves to be accepted among this community.
And Karl is right. Texting is already become an ad factor. The future is upon us
and I am so old-fashioned that I can't accept that we will soon all be
communicating with abbreviated words and sentences.
You'll just have to put up with funny old Grampa for the few years he's got

Well, I love the old Grampa, but maybe sometimes he is too strict 
I am sure my English is awful, but I still hope you understand me?
Members have to be moderated for simple reasons, they cannot add porn pictures
and call themselves "love boy". There are some rules they also have to follow,
but they do not have to add their exact measurements and they do not have to add
their passport copies to prove they are real persons Donald Duck should not
be accepted, but Wilt Chamberlain most probably was not the only person with
that name.

which are obviously not names like GXYVWHS also the pics but mostly we need to
pay more attention to pple like photographers claiming to proffesionals n dont
