By the way the photo shootings will be in Ireland next summer on different dates and locations.

You don't state what your publication is about or how difficult the assignment will be for the model. I have a little experience working with both pros and amateurs and with pros you get the shot you want very quickly, with amateurs they need a lot more direction and you might not get the shot. The answer to the question really depends on how complicated the shot is and how particular you are that it is done precisely to your requirements. If it is simply images of pretty girls then you should be fine with amateurs.
Also there are a lot of pros that are willing to do TFCD if the assignment will enhance their portfolio. Generally you will need a solid portfolio already in order to get them to work for free.

Hi Mike, I actually didn't include that information a bit intentionally but I guess you are right is very difficult to make an assessment without knowing what type of shots or the level of difficulty to obtain it.
Basically what I am looking for is outdoor shots depicting beautiful girls doing everyday tasks in an alien environment, I want to steer away from full exposure but I do want them to be sensually loaded (emphasis on sensually not sexually).
I don't think the photos would be difficult to acquire, the thing that worries me the most is how reliable amateur models are to be there when they are supposed to.
In the past taking the photos has been mostly in the interest of the models but in this case is my hard earned cash that is on the line, so I think you can understand how can make me nervous going somewhere with make up artist, a couple of assistants, equipment and then find myself with no model.
As I said before this would be my first time doing it all on my own so I am a bit apprehensive about the whole thing.
By the way if anyone knows a reliable model in Ireland I would appreciate if you can pass on my number, you can find it on my profile.
