Hey ppl!
This is the first time i'm writing a topic lol :lol:
Is not very common to see people from Latin America here in jurguita... anywayz.. thank god i kinda speak english!

So... the ideal type of a model...
what is the ideal type??

Turns out that it depends on the country...!
For example, i live in Venezuela, a country well known for winning the beauty pageants. however the modeling industry here is the opposite of European and almost wordlwide market... Agencies usually look for gilrs with amaizing bodies: lot of boobs (and if u had a good job is better), a huge bootie... the measures should be 90-60-90.. just like the girls from the pageants... not fair huh?

What's the ideal type of model in your country??.. and what do u think about it??

The style of modeling, and the citizenries idea of beauty, throughout most of the Latin world is sculpted. From Puerto Rico to Panama and past Venezuela, those who find the money better their looks through surgery. The people live in cultures that consider themselves more beautiful than any other race on the planet as a matter of survival. And they do not stop at face lifts or boob jobs. Liposuction on a 99 pound woman. Hip enlarging or slimming depending upon your taste. Removal of ribs to get an hour glass shape. Eyebrow removal. Bone slicing. All to try and attract the person or organization that can offer them a better life.

Yet Venezuela, albeit the plastic surgery capitol of the world, does not hold such a monopoly on beauty that we can credit Venezuelan genetics and/or science being the source of the multitude of Miss Universe wins. The government itself is capitalizing on the beauty of its people to sell itself to the world as a wonderful place.

The Miss Universe Pageant itself, being a United States of America based entity, is more than happy to call Venezuelan models winners. Venezuela supplies almost all of the oil used for gasoline on the east coast of the United States and is partnered with the largest oil refinery in the Western Hemisphere.

Americans are supposed to b e seduced by Venezuelan beauty blinding them to that fact that Chavez controls whether cars move, electricity runs or heating oil burns in the economic heart of the U.S.

Yes, Venezuelans are beautiful. And with beauty, comes the beast. Question is, under all that plastic, who us really the beast?

In Austria it's a little bit different. Some agencies have thin models others have girls with nice bobs :cantlook:
If you want to be a model for lingery or swimmsuit from Palmers, Wolford, ... you need to have measurements about 90-60-90. For Gazelle it can be a little more.
High fashion models are thiner.
For runway a high of > 175cm = 5'9" is a must!
For commercials the models can be smaller ...
... I don't like to big bobs :cantlook:
