Does anyone know when we will be able to start voting in the 'Miss Jeans Competition' ?
I see that the topic is now locked, so hopefully it will be soon..

Hi Romeo,
Good question !!! In the previous contests this was a common problem where voters thought "1" meant the highest rating and I asked Yana who was presently moderating at the time to please clarify as people were getting confused. They havent done it this time so I can happily tell you that "1" means the lowest and "10" the highest....you mean you havent voted yet?? Uh oh watch out everyone here comes Romeo!!

Courtney...you have got to be kidding! I voted as 1 being the highest and ten being the lowest!

Rana, we need some clarification here. Did I mess up my voting? Or are other people messing up their voting?

Way too late! That should have been clear in the rules. Heck, I have always voted in Jurgita contests as Number 1 meaning Number 1.

All of my votes are screwed. That means that the people I liked best I ended dumping in last place.

That sucks.

Let's not start over. There's been issues with this contest since it was conceived and most anything to do with it has never been completely clear. Let's just get through it, learn, and improve on the next contest, from what we've learned from this one.:cantlook::dunno::shh:

Lucia, when this happened last time, Yana actually added a note in the rules of the competition clarifying it ~ do you not think that you should still do that for the people who have still yet to vote seeing as there is still a week left of voting ?? Nice and clear in big bold letters would be good...I sympathise with Karl though...it can be deceiving and can be taken both ways ...i.e. if you are No 1 or are a 10 out of 10 it means the same thing and I believe Karl interpreted it as being No 1..we'll forgive you Karl and all the others, thank goodness Romeo asked !!! LOL:thumbup:

ouch!! Too bad I can't participate in the contest. Sorry Lucia, and the others. And too bad Karl misunderstood about how the voting system is. Since, he has sen many contests here and actually be one of the participants on the previous contest too! -__-"; too bad.

You know you make a pair of jeans look fit, playful and relaxing. I have to give you points for that. Er, well, would have given you points for that.

I'm sorry for my mixed up voting.


But I am very glad to see that some models really thought through their shots. Mr & Mrs. Jeans in Jurgita: The Contest is not about the fact that you have on a pair of jeans. It is about your choice of jeans. Why did you put them on? How do they make you feel? How do they make you act? Have you portrayed this in a manner that would make the viewer want a pair of jeans?

You see, jeans is a world wide commercial product. In fact, jeans are the most produced type of clothing in the world. And there is no height requirement for jeans advertising! Jeans models come in all shapes and sizes. Don't worry about not being 5'8" or 5'10". A jeans ad or jeans fashion show doesn't care! Rich people wear jeans, Poor people wear jeans. Everyone has a pair of jeans. Fat or skinny, short or tall, every type of human needs to be shown that they, too, can look good in a pair of jeans.

This contest was more than about a simple name. It was an opportunity for models to show what they could contribute to the wide world of Jeans marketing. Yes, thought and creativity went into the planning of many of the models' images. They remembered that the role of a model is to attract attention to the product. They did good jobs.
