For example Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are very impressive persons if you would make some more reading about them, but i think they are not very famous for their money. Another great exaple of how a person is made famous only because of money is Paris Hilton. So what do you think, will you become famous only because you have money?

i think rich people get noticed because newspapers are interested in how they spend money. also it's all about rumors like coudn't Paris get normal dress for mtv awards.
some rich people become famous because they donate money for some charity funds. not much to say, people are interested in how others spend money, no matter if we talk about our neighbors or billionaires :)

If tomorrow suddenly I'll have millions of dollars I will be famous as well as you or anyone other :D

If you are not going to visit charity funds, awards, parties, expensive restaurants, hotels and etc. maybe no one knows about you and your money but I don't believe you will not be on the first row of Dolce&Gabbana fashion show if you have such money like Paris Hilton, for example.

If have couple billion of dollars, it hard to avoid attention. So become celebrity you want it or not :dunno: just my thoughts...

yes i think the world over money makes u a celeb. it is something people always notice mostly if u show it around and donate and all that stuff.

well i never hear about the people who win the lottery (maybe its because they are broke after taxes,lol) but i believe a different kind of person has more than what it takes to be famous, money has not as much to do with it like we think. i remember an old woman on the ellen degeneres show had her 15 minutes of fame because of a face she made when the music got loud, haha.




then some chubby kid got his 15 minutes of fame from lipsyncing a song, dragostea din tei by Ozone, hahaha. do u guys remember how britney got famous, that "different" voice , noone else sounded liek her, same thing when macy gray was hot for a little while. if ur a rarity people will want u!

Ofcourse money is one of the things that make ones a celebrity. Money makes the person popular and right from there things starts happening.

Also talent, a good talent does that. But that also need to be imfluenced by money, there are many people that got talent but never have the chance to showcase it because thay haven't got the necessary dough.

Money is power, it commands respect, it can make one do what you never expected to do. Its good and bad at the same time -:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Oh, so does that mean you can be a celebrity with the little you've got? But look at it from this scenario, connection matters a lot too, there are people who doesn't have money but with right connection, they become a celebrity
