Keep a file of all the people you try to see. (Index cards, a PC program, a
notebook). You must know at a glance when you sent a photo, to whom, and whether
you received a response. As your career progresses, you will refer to the
records for follow-up notes and phone calls and to remind yourself what happened
at each exchange.
You have a lot of work to do (send cards, notes, making calls, etc.) but set
'office hours' for this. Managing the time will make you a happier person an
