I was notified today that three of my images were chosen to be displayed in OMP.com Showcase Galleries.

Pretty nice, since I only opened my portfolio there 9 days ago. :thumbup:

Well I can see why John, as your work is really excellent. Each one seems to depict its own story and is totally different from the next. Congratulations...!! And by the way is that the back of your head in the "shooter gets shot" ?? Caught in action huh! I thought it was me for a second :D

Yep, like my bald spot! :muscle:

I phoned the newspaper the next day when the image came out, and told the Photo Editor, "Hey, the least your shooter could have done was move a few feet to either side to take the photo. That way, they would have ALSO shown the profile of my face ... and NOT just my missing hair!"

We both got a good laugh from that!

Yeah I had a chuckle when I saw it, its a part of our anatomy that we ourselves dont see everyday and sometimes when we do see it like in this instance it can be a bit of a shock. Some men dont even realise that they are bald there at all until they happen to look up into a two way mirror and then its " is that ME??!!" Just wondered if that happened to you?

Yes they shouldve at least shown your profile and taken the attention off the "balding area" ha ha...adds character to the photo though and brings us as the spectator right into the reality of the shot making it more real. Your model also seems to have a look of amusement in her smile at being photographed by two photographers at the same time, its a great interesting picture. Look after that bald patch huh! :D
