what do you think about extra piercings? Like the belly button, top of the ear, nose & eye brow? I only have my ears pierced but I want to get my belly button done? What are your thoughts on photographing ppl with extra piercings?

belly button, ears ok, anywhere else is a no no for modelling

Piercings appeal to some, but not most. In most modelling positions, The client usually wants photographs to appeal to most, not a few. As Leonard Nemoy said in Star Trek II, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

It's a matter of personal taste, but it can limit your work. Some agencies and photographers have no issue with piecings and others do.

Taking out eyebrow studs and nose and lip piercings for me is no good. It still shows and has to be edited. If that is the case I won't book the model in the first place.

Most common piercings are neval, nose, ear & nipples (male and female) though I've not got any myself:thumbup: I used to think the eye piercings were horrible when they first started appearing everywhere, though they are so common now, especially with the majority goth youth in the UK, you get used to seeing them, but they do leave huge holes when removed.:cantlook:
Some model agencies in the UK tell you if the model's got piercings on his/her face or body on the model profiles:thumbup:

I had a lingerie shoot with a model yesterday and she actually asked me would I prefer the belly piercing in or out. So we shot with it out.
Last week I did a nude shoot with a model that had rings in both nipples. I was unaware before the shoot that she was pierced and would have prefer her not to be, however, the resulting images were still satisfactory.

It depends a lot of models have several piercings, body facial and depending on the type of modeling they do it helps their look.
