For piercings in the modelling industry ears and belly yes, face piercings and anywhere else people see is a no no for modelling and tattoos by adding more tattoos will limit your chances of getting more jobs as tattoos will be covered when modelling, You never see a model walking down the runway with a tattoo so they ll use make up to cover it and the same for photos in shoots for products. And i don t mean to be rude this is just how it is there s no other way of saying it politely sorry:dunno:

You do not have to worry about showing tatoos and piercings down the runway. At 5'2", that is not in your future. Sorry, but true. Also, many photgraphers do indeed like the look you portray. I do too! But your look is not editorial either, (you put in your profile) as you do not meet the weight criteria or minimum height requirement of 5'6". (at least here in Calif) You are probably limited to local modeling .. which is a great opportunity believe it or not! Locals are not that picky about such things.
I shot an online catalog yesterday with a local company.. nothing wrong with that!

I would say to not put piercings, tatoo images or your chest exposed in any way on the first pages of your book. I would show yourself smiling with little to no make-up. Perhaps the tatoos at the back of the book.
Just a thought!

Hi Roxie,
I know that you didnt ask for modeling advice and my goal isnt to offend you.
You have a nice variety of photos, the only thing i noticed was that you have the same expression on your face in most of your photos. Your posing is good, just work on trying to capture different emotions in your facial expressions. Using your eyes to really draw in people can add a lot to a photo.

Good Luck with searching for a photographer in your area!

You know guys.. Thanks for the advice but that isnt what my topic was asking for. As far as i can tell im not interested in mainstream modeling.Maybe when i get bored of it all ill get my tatts removed and my height surgically altered..But not going to happen. Take the time to read my webpage to see what im interested in then shoot comments at me.

Oh and if you havent noticed, ive taken out all my piercings.Im glad you guys can see them even when their not there....:lips:

Just wanted to tell you that people are telling you no about piercings because in your website you have written 'yes i intend to get alot more of tatts and piercings' so maybe that could have hinted them that you have piercings

Well golly! I see you have been there! Maybe it would have actually registered to you that i didnt even hint about going on catwalk,etc.,etc,etc. So since you have read my web page then good dont advise me on what i do not want to do! This attitude doesn't work out good for you in the modelling industry, ask any professional model and that's what she/he'll say, all the people who posted here wanted to help you out and if you want photographers you have to chase them down, they won't chase you. So if you don't want any help no one will give it to you.
