hi i really want to know how to edit phots as i really can't do it, I tried google but couldn't understand :/.
So any help will be greatly appreciated.
Kimberley :)

What program are you using? and what exactly are you trying to edit?

ehmm I think it s photoshop but it s not a recent version so..:/
I want to like put 2 photos in one like they morph into each other and make pics b&w
Kimberley :)

to make photos black and white:
go to the pull down menu called 'Image', then go to 'Ajustments', and then 'Desaturate'.

let me know if that works and ill look into the morphing thing for you.

Ok thanks kimberly I will try it and let you know
Thanks btw your profile photos are great
Kimberley :)

you wanted to make ur pics in black and white?

i think there is an option in photoshop for making a gray scale..

what about trying nero?have you heard of that? it's not as complicated as photoshop so i think that would work for you.

Thank you.

Also when you say morph photos together do you mean something like this?

no i haven t heard of nero, i have nero to burn cds i didn t know that there is one for editing i ll try and find it 10xs
Kimberley :)

yes kimberley that s what i mean.

Looks difficult to make :/
Kimberley :)

For the above photo,
- open the two photos seperately in photoshop,
- decide what one you want as the background and what one as the foreground.
- take rectangular marquee tool (or you can use magnetic laso if you want to cut a specific object out of the photo) to highlight the photo or portion of the photo you are going to put ontop of the other one.
- copy the image. Edit, Copy. or hold Ctrl and C on your keyboard
- then go to your second image (background image) and paste the photo ontop. Edit, Paste or hold Ctrl and V on your keyboard. It will automatically create a new layer so any alterations to the new image will not effect your background image.
- resize the top image by going to 'Edit' and then 'Free Transform'. or if you want to rotate it go to 'Transform'
- On the right hand side of your photoshop screen there is a box containing 'Color' 'Navagator' 'History' and 'Layer' portions.
- Make sure Layer 1 is highlighted (you can renamed it by double clicking on it).
- Above where the layers are listed is a pull down menu that will have 'Normal' in the boxk highlighted. to the right of that box is a box that says 'Opacity': 100%.
- Click the arrow beside the 100% and a slider will appear. alter the opacity to your desired level.

Let me know how it works out!

Photoshop is the standart if you one to edit big archives from professional shootings, i think a short course or tuition will be of greater help tahn any book.
