Ok, I've done some portraits that you will see soon in my profile but it wasn't
very easy and now I can give some tips (amateur tips).
- Use a day light (if you don't have a softbox and other stuff), you can make
photos outdoors.
- Sunny weather or even cloudy will be ok.
- Make sure your skin is good, use a scrab for face the day before
photoshoot.
- If you are not sure you can make a good make-up better use less: base and
mascara.
- Use a powder. If your skin is not perfect, use lighter powder because it will
be easier to remove all skin defects in Photoshop then.
- Use a shine powder, it will give a beautiful effect.
- Eye shadows you can add with Photoshop (if you are not sure you can mix and
match it right) and the result might be even better than natural shadows.
- I don't like lipgloss for lips, I prefer matte lipstick.
- Do not make it too close to the camera, your features will be distorted better
use photoshop (again ) to cut the photo as much as you need.
- Use white carton to reflect the flash, it will give additional soft light as
well.
- Use your hair, hand(s), accessories or other stuff (sometimes I have a cat
near )to make
your portraits not so bored.
- Start with natural expressions.
- Preferably, use one colour background.I am still here |

is warmest. I like warm sunlight as it creates mood with the softened shadows
and the glow it gives to the skin. |

bright and right behind the person you are shooting if you don't have a flash.
The effect you get it like that of a most wanted show where the tip giver wants
to remain unanimous. In other wise the sun is so bright that it shines with
intensity and the persons face gets blackend out as a result.Dante' A V |
