there are books that will help I know one model place has some and Amazon should
have some, my best advice would be to find a model in your area and get some
tips from her, you may also try to find a photographer that help give you some
direction. I am sorry that I don't live near you would be glad to help. |

practice, do as much different photos as you can and soon you will see what
looks great. You can try to copy magazine's photos, try to dance, or anything
indeed may give a good result. Some general poses are exist, you can read about
them or search through the web. But, my humble opinion, modeling is a
creativity. Good luck! I am still here |

In modeling, just like in acting, it's just what's in your mind at the present
what others are looking at. Whenever you're posing try to take your mind to
where you want to accomplish- away from the shot and the photographer- and into
your goal at the moment. It takes practice, but it's not hard. The main idea is
to forget about the photo and concentrate in how you want or are supposed to
appear. Photos kind of show your mind to viewers, so practice and you'll be
find.
I'm a photographer at heart more than a model, but I've only done it as a hobby.
But I've got all my local friends coming to me for photos,'cause "I relax 'em"
-they say. Well that's the point!! |

substitute for seeing what the images look like when they come out of the
camera.
I shot with Poonam, Halifax NS, 2 weeks ago. She understands her body and what
she has to do to make the images look good. She told me from the very beginning
which side she photographs best from. For the lingerie shoot we had a mirror set
up next to me so that she could she herself and make corrections as necessary.
It was obvious that she was very used to posing in front of the mirror. Here are
a couple of images from the shoot |

will need help doing that.
Why not try doing things on your own first. In order to get the best expression
in pictures you've got to think great things in your mind. Like taking a sexy
pics, you should create something sexy in your mind, and as you do that you get
the most sexy picture ever. Also happy pictures, do sme thing in your mind, as
you do that daily and practice more in front of your mirror, you get to
improve

Yupe, "ugly photos" (ie poses that doesn't work out) helps too. There are many
poses the mirror can't help. Studying these photos will help in improving your
pose. |
