This sounds like a very cool and specific opportunity for not just one! I am
amazed there is no response here as yet, possibly and hopefully interested
people are as you say responding by uploading and responding to you page!
Those Aspiring to be Models! Singers! Dancers or whatever should consider offers
en-route to getting noticed in life! It is all exposure, jobs on resume and
showing of how versatile you are in Character, particularly you wannabe
Actors!
Wow many sites charge members for Audition offers like this and many profiles
actively seek such things, so go for it please jurgita members and see whether
it is for you! |

uploaded a voice sample to their profile. A great mystery as to why not since it costs nothing to
record a few words into the computer and upload.
I do have dozens of means of sending casting advertisements but I chose to post
in Jurgita because I am so involved here and it is a place where amateur models,
actors, singers etc. can work on getting their start in the industry by gaining
knowledge and experience from professionals.
There also might be the possibility that many models do not realize that the
real money in today's industry is no longer centered in just print and runway
work. Today's model really should be talented in the entire realm of multimedia.
Personal appearances and press interviews are just the surface of the media
presence needed to make today's amateur tomorrow's supermodel.
Perhaps they do not know what to say. Just introduce yourself. "Hi, my
name is Mickey Mantle. I am a five foot ten aspiring talent. I am a member of
Jurgita dot com and I am available to do commercial voice overs."
Perhaps they do not know how to record. Every computer sold today comes with
audio and recording jacks. Many have built in microphones. The voice sample for
this test does not need to be high fidelity, just clear enough to make a good
judgment of your speaking voice.
I they do not have a microphone built in or one that they can plug into the
computer's audio jacks, I can let out a small secret known to sound
professionals. If you have a pair of headphones, you have a microphone! Simply
plug the headphone plug into the microphone jack. Presto! You have a microphone!
The sound resolution and pick up will not be as good as a regular microphone,
but it will work. With most headphones, the voice pickup will be through the
left ear piece. Put the ear piece close to your mouth (the recording ability
will likely be unidirectional, meaning that any sound not directly in front of
and close to the ear piece will not be picked up). Note: This does not always
work for headphones with a volume control built into the wire.
Adjust your microphone settings by clicking the sound icon on your computer's
tool bar until you have a loud enough recording volume. You can record straight
into windows built-in Sound Recorder (found in windows under
Start:Accessories:Sound Recorder. This will record in wav format which is
uploadable to Jurgita. MP3, however, is better since it compresses to a smaller
upload size. Windows Media Player and Real Player will convert wav to mp3.
To upload to Jurgita, on your control panel there is a handy dandy button that
says Audio Add/Rem. Follow the instructions.
I suppose I should also state the job/client. It is for a product called
Caribbean Photo Seminars. These are pro photographer training sessions based in
the Virgin Islands to teach photographers the ins and outs of shooting in a
tropical environment. The seminars are held several times a year so there will
be repeat business for the successful voice over applicants for successive
seminars. Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should |

I am so pleased that you added that instruction for those who may wish to add! I
think often it is the case that true Aspiring Talents often do not know how to
do these things and maybe hesitate from applying rather than message and say
'HELP'
The Bigger Picture thing is what I was trying to say also, Talents need to think
about the whole image and character projected! All good work is positive and
shows you more fully and maybe all sides of you character! Quite a selling point
over and above simply Modeling pics!
Please go for it members, this is free Audition great opportunity and an open
friendly person inviting you to earn and progress!! Come on!!! |

Are we still looking at November 'till we meet?
Hi, Cheri:
This is me confused. What does being closer to me have to do with presenting a
voice sample? Electronic digitizing means that I can book recording studio time
anywhere in the world for commercial quality. I am not asking for commercial
quality for the audition. Home quality is good enough for me to hear what
you sound like.
Stop trying to confuse me. If you would love to do it...go on ahead...do it.
'till we meet is still a big if on my time in Arizona. I get a day free, I
promise to drive over the mountain to see you. Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should |

It has no relevance to what you are asking here and the last few threads! This
is a serious offer posting with direction and i do hate when things lose
direction, so please Karl respond and keep this posting afresh with your facts
