her that HOTELS ARE SOOOOOOOOO DULL AND BORING during vacation!
I mean it! First its like youre in some jail, neighbours always spy on you,
cleaning lady always finds you naked in the morning, elevators are always busy,
and eating in hotel is like dinning in some i dunno.
I like staying in tents much more! You can alway and easly meet someone, get
into the people, noone asks you for a key of your room, and I recently firgured
out that camping can be serious passion - last year I saw stairs maid of wood in
2 floor tent LOL
anyway hope im not alone in this or i must be wierd lol |

you've mentioned. Next time you travel see if you can find a hotel that has at
least a one star rating. Or cute cleaning ladies.
I love camping but it is not for most trips. Camping in the snow requires at
least a psychiatric evaluation and even when warm I find it quite difficult to
keep my suits from wrinkling. When I have a nature assignment I have a small pup
tent which is more than good enough for me.
If you ever visit here you do have a choice of camping where you bring your own
tent or stay in permanent tents and cottages. You can live aboard a sail or
power boat, enjoy the semi luxury of open air hotel rooms each with their own
swimming pool and native plants growing inside, find a dirt cheap room where
running water and lights might be a fantasy or step up the scale to five star
resorts catering to people who love to spend a couple grand a night.
If you do wish to tent it here, I would suggest from late fall to mid-spring.
Camping out during the summer is only for people who enjoy losing weight through
blood loss. Our mosquitoes are quite a bit smaller than the monsters I have seen
on the U.S. mainland but they make up for it in the same way that a chihuahua is
more vicious and disgusting than a German Shepherd. So we wow you with the
entertainment at the hotels, but the sounds of the party won't reach you if you
chose to stay within your room. And the room service is professionally discreet. Have faith that the universe will unfold as it should |

folks here don't have a clue unless they've lived in Japan.
Just in case, I'll describe them: Love Hotels are a Japanese phenomena primarily
designed to allow for brief trysts for illicit affairs, for people who have no
privacy at home or for lovers who have inadequate quarters of their own. While
it is possible to rent a room for the night at a reasonable price, there is an
hourly rate that is quite a bit higher.
Hotels and rooms are rather garishly decorated, often with themes. I saw one
where you could bathe in a giant champagne glass. Another had a swinging basket
over the bed with strategically placed holes for interesting sex play.
Parking spaces are designed to keep people from seeing your car or recording
your license plate. The main business of the hotels is conducted in the daytime,
so there is a much better rate for an all-night stay and, as a consequence, when
we could find no other lodgings, we stayed in them a couple of times--the kids
loved playing in the champagne bath.If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try! |

I've slept in a tent in the snow, but I've also family-camped out in many
locales. As my budget improved, so did my desire for a comfortable bed.
When we were in Europe we stayed almost exclusively at budget and bargain hotels
or B&Bs--once at a youth hostel--and we had a wonderful time because we were
there to go and see, not to stay in and be pampered.
Karl's got a good point. His home island is a great place to visit. If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!

because it was right after clubbing night and I was exhausted from dancing and
tired of loud music... so I left early with a friend and found out that the
trains don't start until another 2 hours. So we found a love hotel instead to
spend the night until the trains were up. Second time was a model shoot. They
really are nice hotels though... |

Exactly thats the point here! I enjoy in everything thats why i menshioned
"dullness of hotels" - since lots of people think that luxury can give you
enjoyment. Well thats simply not true. You enjoy in people not in a luxury of
hotel
Im not saying that hotels are bad. But they are just boring from my point of
view. Im up for campuses and nature style of living. SOunds of birds and wolfs
lol!
When you enter in your hotel room all you can do is watch the walls and listen
conversations from other room. Usually im on a trip totaly alone just fyi.
Being in a camp at stormy & very windy weather is something completly different
and priceless experience (tongue out)!
******
PS FYI: As you probably know Croatia is tourism destination. There is a totaly
devastated camp at island called Murter here. Cauz of nature of that camp, it
has no electricity, people are miles away and it has no any kind of survailance
or service (can you imagine being there at night lol). During summer its full of
mostly very rich people from Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
I entered into that area with my car at 1 pm without any knowing where I am (I
was searching for wide open sea to take a swimm after being boiled in my car
anyway) and I went into the thing to check out what this is!
Well.. first thing happened is that i was a called for a coffee and a launch
from a total strangers family and after really great time i asked them what the
do here. Anyway they told me..
- Are you crazy kid?! Month or two here is our only gate to run away from dull
civilization haha!
People are soooooooo much fun! |
