What do you think about the possibility of all models used in London fashion week having medicals before they go on the catwalk? It is something the government are talking about

Well if the models are required to go through medicals, i believe many of them won't be able to qualify!

But there are a lot of preparations before catwalk, it is like chaos. On the fashion weeks models have one catwalk after another with a little break between. Can't image how it will be?

Only maybe, if it is single fashion show....

hmm. checking the body mass index isn't enough. i've been in the medical field before, and body mass index itself is a very simple thing and is not fool proof. hence i believe a full medical would be more accurate in determining the state of the model's health.

just a thought:
a girl might have normal body mass index but she might been starving for two days before a show and she would pass "medical test". and another girl might have low mass index, but she might be simply slim built. that's why i don't believe that these "tests" can change something.

i doubt she will starve before a show. insufficient weight is the problem, not having a little more weight.

Isn't this going to stress out the preparation MODE for Models & Managers, & largely breed an incumbent incurrence of logistic delays with becoming so stringent?...Will this curtail the cynosure of mainline high scale industry, by stinting its fluid range of operation?:muscle:
