photographer said was that it'll be a casual one so no bikinis or swimwear. I

A mine field subject and one that you would be best to be over cautious over
even at the risk of losing work if you do not get the right consents!
Firstly underage Models should be adressed via their Parents/Guardians then if
all appears above board any arrangements regarding Photoshoots should safeguard
both parties ie Model and Photographer by having an agreement in writing to meet
with a suitable adult in attendance to do such photo work!
Never should either party be in a position out of that sittuation where they
feel exposed away from that impartial other adult onlooker! It is unfortunate
that we have to think in this way, yet it is common sense and good morals to
adhere to such things as it is a safety net should anything suspect be suggested
occur or be suggested!
Safety issues are paramount particularly for minors and Parents to keep in mind
but likewise Photographers and agents etc should be equally as wary! |

learn. I at first wanted to contact only models 18+, since age not listed, I
have made contact with some models under 18. One referred me to her mother. I am
fine doing that, since I am starting out in this business and feel honesty and
the general welfare of the model should be considered. We live in a sick society
that makes "an ounce of prevention worth a pound of cure!"

the site looks simple but navigating can get you in the wrong place with model
contacts, forums, blogs, etc. Like anything else with continual use things will
improve. I will say that the majority of people on Jurgita are a cut above most
sites where conversation is exchanged by e-mail. I like that. Getting together

people to be honest. This is one point where I get into trouble. Model looks 18+
but then I find out she is underage. many of you have given pointers in how to
deal with underagers. Thank you.
I have been taking mystery out of the picture, by asking age. I think in this
country girls mature to women way too fast due to many food/drink products
loaded with vitamins and other additives.
Will check net about Malta. I know where it is and some history, but sounds
fascinating. |

Oh I see your point Ralph, yes it is tricky initially, but once conversant with
the forums available it is easy enough, hey I note you have found that out

It is unfortunate that Malta is not noted more for Modelling! It is a highly
popular tourist destination and has great beaches I believe, generally with that
combination and the good climate it would be seen as an ideal Modelling
Destination, but I guess some Countries have not evolved that way yet.
More's the pity for you Kim as it then offers less opportunities for yourself
locally! Is this the same for Models when they reach 18 and over in your Country

younger models to be just like taking pictures of themselves in an instant, not
in a booth or building.
However, I am NOT saying it's okay for teenagers to take pictures as they
please. I have no idea how you got that. Even if they do that, I STILL think
they should get the OK from their parent / legal guardian to set up an account
and post their pictures an profile on here.

It is so so difficult for people to advise on the ‘Underage’
Dealing for talents, guidelines can be set but typically teenagers
Will Want to step over the lines and do there own thing, more

that reason alone means that it cannot be assumed that a
profile is in actual fact over-seen or even started by an adult.
