Real Music From Real Areas!

I have noticed through my family and my own experiences over the years that
much good music and lyrics seem to derive from areas and people who are for
want of a better word ‘REAL’

Historically it seems that cool songs and lyrics are not just cool cos they
relate to that year or fashionable trends, but more so they are timeless songs
and lyrics that all generations relate to. Maybe that is why such good music
is covered by fashionable people as those songs can stand the test of time.

From the likes of Stevie Wonder with Living for the city has come Alicia Keys
giving the next generation of NY Americans inspiration and direction with her
own song writing and brilliant songs.

Through the mass of quick stardom here today gone tomorrow manufactured
Singers and bands it is good to see that now true talents are shining through in the
Singer/Song Industries and to me seeing people who are very real from my own
Area of the country making it is very inspiring, especially as they are not being moulded by the big cities or Influenced by such, and retain the image and sound that was the key to their success!

Love her to bits! That’s a English compliment lol!

I got more lol!

Only one radio station in the world knows what "real music" is & that's X-FM!
All the bands on exposure scotland are fantastic!:pleased:

no computers at all! :D

Nothing is as real as the king of all instruments - the electric guitar!

the majority of us are sick and damn tired of spice girls & madonna wannabe's created by the BBC and pushed by local uk fm radio's & russian backward society that think these "so called" pop stars are cool!

well... they are not cool! and they aren't really pop anyway as all your techno mumbo jumbo is the underground! to sum it up proper... sub-pop!
or electronic alternative! over-emphisized to damage the speakers and your brain, though most techno-heads have no brains whatsoever!
Why the f*** do some idiots call it dance music when...
a) it's not music at all!
b) you can't dance to bleeping, phasing & buzzing noises

Anyone trying to put that s*** into my car stereo would be getting out to catch the bus!

NOW I WOULDN'T MIND HIS NOISE AS A NEIGHBOUR

I happen to like electronica (some genres much better than others), and I can think as many bits of generic world music and rock and roll as I can techno. If any type of music should be questioned as "music", it should be death metal, where they scream or distort their voices so much you can't even tell what language they're singing in!

Anywho, I sometimes see people near the train stations or on the sidewalk playing music downtown, and it surprises me how good they can be! They do it entirely live and unrehearsed, and I often find myself stopping just to hear them.
