Again with my D80, and a very long extension, somewhere around 19 minutes or so.

Looks a familiar sight to when I was in Canada summer 2006, I went to Ellesmere island on my way from Greenland & the aurora over the pole:cool:

Yes, this photo is taken in Canada. And it was taken in Northern Ontario.

What is a "very long extension" ? Do you mean exposure or was it on a tripod with a very long extension ?

I think he's either meaning a very long remote extension or lense extension (telescopic lense):dunno:

Well he mentions that the extension was 19mins long, so I'm assuming that he meant exposure length. He should probably read this it explains basic photography terms.

btw extensions (as in extension tubes) are used for macro work not for zooming. Extenders are used for zooming.
