U think that a person on 30-35 years can begin a model career?????
:lips::saint::lips:

Sure they can!:thumbup:
There's a few model members on this site that are 30+ & my honest opinion of them is... they look great & if they get the lucky break with the right agent they can still make it & possibly go far!:thumbup:

Yap, I agree but were can find right agent??????
:lips::saint::lips:

That's where the difficulty can come in!
in the UK there are a couple of agencies that deal only with 30+ & some are 40+
same way that we have the petiti, plus size, etc... every type of agency over here, the main problem would be where to find an agent in Romania that would take a model between 30 & 35?:dunno:
I can't see why any agency would say no to someone who has the right figure & the right looks to be a model:thumbup:

I think 15-25 is best age for modeling :pleased:

Hello Everyone!

While I agree with the consensus here on the thread that our best modeling years are between 15 and 25 there is hope. I should probably qualify this statement by saying the what I am about to explain may apply only to the U.S.

After the Second World War all the servicemen returned home, married and had lots of babies. The generation born between here between 1945 & 1964 is called the "Baby Boomer Generation" (I don't know why we like to give our generations labels here...)

The good news is that as the "boomers" age they like to see people around their own age in advertisements targeted toward them. Therefore, the demand for models in their 30's and 40's is growing!

For those of you in countries like India and Romania I would say that if you have a good look and get the right agency there isn't a reason that you couldn't be a really successful model. One of the things about the U.S. is that we have every kind of nationality here, and everyone likes to see a face that reminds them of their loved ones and themselves. I have noticed a lot more Eastern Indian models in print ads lately. Some of our hottest and most famous models are Eastern European, I always think of Mila Jovovich, from Ukraine. She has become an actress as well as a supermodel. Here is a link to one of her movies----

As far as all you are concerned, take heart, I am 45 and looking too! (LOL) Good luck to all of us!!!

Cheers!
