Well I've seen a lot of boasting about prices and brand names in forums but how many photographers can tell what the make and model of camera used to take this picture was?:D

Peacefull out in the countryside:)
the air is so clean compares with the city:thumbup:

I will tell all what camera was used to take it later on!
I wonder who will guess right:dunno:

I've removed all the EXIF data so nobody can cheat:lol:
Yes I know too well about the right button click that shows you the properties including camera model:D

Resolution 800x600 ? Pretty old model.

In small resolution photos from mobile look fine.
Example made by Sony K750i. It's mobile phone with 2 MP camera.

Ahh! remember when you upload pictures onto forum posts the jurgita website automatically resizes them for quick display:thumbup:

The first one was taken on the Cathkin braes, between Cathkin & Cambuslang to the north & East Kilbride (where I live) to the south.
And the picture file on my desktop is 3.2mp, 1632x1224 @ 72dpi resolution...
taken with a sony ericsson K800i cybershot phone camera

But you have to admit not bad for one taken quickly
mobile phone cameras are much better today than when they first came out
Though that was taken early march this year, my current phone boasts 5mp camera

This picture was taken with a digital camera, not the phone this time...
but which brand/model was used?:dunno:

1mb is the file size limit in forums so I've had to shrink it, sadly:(

NIKON!?

haha. I have no idea.

I dont understand why you ( Gary ) allways talk about Cameramodels and all this ? I think you would love to have a good Model but only take you Cellphone for Pictures... Dont take it personal but it looks like...
I can take with my Camera Photos up to 3000 px. Thats not Possible with Cellphone . Also i dont prefer Digital Zoom ( most Cell have this ) . I can manage all also Manual how i need it ( ISO - WB ... ) have the Option to take other Objectives ( Macro or some for long Distance ) can use Filters ( Sepir .. )
Seriel Photos are also Possible and a lot more...
I think a good Digital Camera is never a Cellphone... you can take nice Photos with this of course but Cellphone allways lose if you want to use this prof.
But why you talk about all this in different Postings ?
Cant u accept that there are people outside who have better Camer as u ? I also dont have a Top Model ( Haselblade or similar )... but its ok and i dont tell all the use of this Topquality Cameras that my Canon is same to the Models ...

I think the clouds look a bit Japanese, so I guess it must be a Japanese camera manufacturer. And looking at the sky I think the price is probably sky-high, so I guess its the top model

Would have guessed. Not becouse i own 800i too (though plan to change). As long as you do not use zoom, it was perfect for quick shots in parties or outdoors. But it will not replace real camera.
5mp camera in phone is nothing to boost about. It depends a bit on a lens, and I have seen 8mp cameras in phones as well. Quality ? Havent seen photos by it yet, but well... I do not buy phone to use as photocamera. Shots are an added bonus, but well...

Excuse me?

The picture in the post I made at the top was taken with a phone but it's the only one:thumbup:
and... being limited to 1mb maximum file size for attachments to forum posts you need to resize the pictures from the DSLR's and the other digital camera's:thumbup:

You know alot about cameras. I don't so much. I use the disposable ones mostly.

A good photographer could use any camera on the market and still get a good result with it:thumbup:
it's down to how steady your hand is & how close to the subject, lighting, lenses being clean, every once in a while format and/or replace memory cards:thumbup:
The DSLR advantage is interchangable lenses:thumbup:

The DSLR advantage is the option to manualy focus and zoom. And no offence. But a total beginner with a DSLR camera could outshoot a professional with a cell phone camera. Clarity, lighting, iso, focus, resolution. All these are from a DSLR, you cannot control any of that with a Cell Phone camera. You get what 3MP at most with a cell phone cam, and a decent DSLR starts at 10.2mp

In your first picture, I knew right away that it was taken with a cell phone camera, vice a DSLR, as the background was more out of focus then the foreground. The lighting was off, and the color hue wasnt vidictive of the current scene. Something that is typical when using a cell cam. Im not saying your photo is bad in any way. The photo itself is nice, but just the quality of the image is what made it stand out to a cell cam vs a DSLR.

Pentax K20D, you can do it al manual or auto, and 14.6 effective megapixels + CMOS image sensor... weatherproof to:thumbup: and personally I think it's better than the Canon 450:cool:
Still, you would have to shrink the image down to 1mb file size on the desktop to display it in forum:thumbup:

Yes. If you are a profesional at what you do, you should be able to.

Its like asking a model if she can guess people's height.

They'll do that without thinking twice
