Grace, don't bother.
Look at it as a compliment when someone thinks your picture is awesome!
In fact, they are promoting you!
In the mean time, you focus on the new stuff, then you are always a step ahead ;-)

Success with your excellent work!

Ya I don't think you can stop downloading of pictures. Let me know if I am wrong about this but I think if it's a picture online anyone can get hold of it.

Speack with admin, we can't do anything:(

Putting your name on your pictures in watermark/shadow effect is a way to halt it:thumbup:
But the simplest way to mark your photo's is to put a copyright mark with your name on them:thumbup:

I've just tried to upload one of my own pictures scaled down to fit inside 1mb to fit inside forum posts & because it's copyright marked jurgita.com won't upload & display it because the copyright mark was detected!

good idea. I think I will do that . Kind of scary find your pic on other sites etrc....

Yeah, from what i have heard I am a Russian bride somewhere out there! Can you believe it? Most sites have a safety feature where you can't copy them.

:dunno:

:lol::lol: And when the man who want to marry with U will see the real bride????:lol:

Even with all the quicktime flash viewers & other flash media that some sites use to stop copying it still happens, there's ways round the side of every form of copy protection, everytime a new copy protection patch is created within anything between 2 weeks & 2 months max there's a patch available you can download for free that let's you copy regardless!
Trying to fight the photo theif is a losing battle:doh:

Most of the dodgy Russian bride sites are operating from Lithuania & Latvia (the 2 EU former soviet states) and from Maine in the USA!

I tried copying mine, it was able to. I'm sure Admin can do something is such a way that public will only be able to view and not copy.

Whatever's the case, I hope it won't affect my personal or career life. I just don't feel comfortable with it.

One other thing to consider, within the active community here, we can copy an image to our desktop and make some suggested changes to the picture and repost it. This is very handy for those who want to learn how to make better images.

If we do completely stop the copy function, then we lose that tool.
If I haven't been there, I'm still planning on going!
If I haven't done it, I've still got time to try!

There ARE ways to try and stop this. For example, I like to open images in new tabs to save time. This is done using the right click on the mouse, same click which is used to copy. On some sites when I do this, I get a message "right click disabled", so admin could set this up here, but like Gary said, there are ways around that. These tools are like locks, they essentially end up stopping the honest people. The crooks usually know all the tricks.
Why do we struggle to paddle upstream while the river is taking us where we need to go?

People who wanting your pictures will get them!
But also certain photographers should be respecting in full that they need asking for permission from models or members berore they just taking copy for playing with!
I have many new photos just taken but I not posting when other members abusing my copyrights and photographer who taken them and his girlfriend telling me many theft of photos happen on jurgita and other members taking advantage of them:shocked:

I agree that if anyone wants to do anything with another member's pictures they should ask the member(s) first before they even copy it otherwise that brands them as low as the dating site theives that copy the images for making fake profiles on russian bride sites:thumbup:

well if someone is really a model, eventually the pics can find way, people can scan from magazines.......click from hoardings, copy from videos......so one should not worry really............

anyways there are pics on facebook, friendster, myspace......for anybody to copy......

So just concentrate on not doing anything wrong yourself.

most of these sites will delete the profile if you prove it is not you who created it. Jurgita.com does that. We also have some members who join with fake photos. If the real owner writes a ticket and proves that is his/her photos we delete the fake profile and ban the email it was created with.

Unfortunately you are completely wrong with this statement. If you see the picture you can take in one way or another.
