| Date: 2008-09-07 18:54 I just wanted to know how people view the set up of this website, with having to
join the "flirt zone" to be able to gain friends. I personally wish it would be
a strictly specified site to talk about modeling, photography, fashion ect. That
doesn't mean that I don't think that people that aren't in the business
shouldn't be able to join, however I wan't to be able to have friends on this
site with out people sending me posts about non model things like its myspace
(which I have gotten already only being on the flirt zone a couple days and
specifically stating I'm only in it for socializing)
So I just wanted to know how other people felt about this and maybe if there's a
big enough response I'll suggest something to the admins. |

(friends request). I did so with minimum stuff (penpal only, no dating option).
In fact i was SHOCKED that they actually listed SEX as something people were
LOOKING for. i mean, don't get me wrong, people meet, they get along, it might
lead to other things. But to set up a profile and say you are actually LOOKING
for sex. how's THAT for an ice breaker !!!
I would MUCH prefer if Friends request could be seperate from the flirt zone.
Thanks for starting this forum. Hopefully it will provide results. Why do we struggle to paddle upstream while the river is taking us where we need to go? |

models alone, its to bring different people from different continent together.
Its like saying a particular product it meant for a set of people which on the
other hand could serve good for other people. Its doesn't matter if they are
models or not, they should be allowed to be on the site as well.
Talking about the firt zone, its actaully different from the modelling, you'll
have to tick by indicatiing your interest in it.
But i wouldn't deny you do have a point somehow because some of the people on
the flirt zone actually take advantage of the site in order to insult other
people.

come here for business only, but don't you say that those in modeling are not
humans and they don't want to find friends or maybe something more than just a
pal. i know what Brittney means about members sending insulting or inappropriate
messages using flirt zone, but if it bothers you so much, you can bookmark other
members to stay in touch instead of joining flirt zone  |

Back to the topic. I agree, do not check "yes" to Flirt Zone if you feel
uncomfortable about it. Report those who abuses it.

Thank you for your input. It certainly spells it out. The one point I have made
earlier was whether or not Friends requests could be implimented OUTSIDE the
flirt zone. But if admin decides against this, I can certainly play along. I did
join the flirt zone strictly for the purpose of having access to friends
request. And yes, I have sent flowers. I also believe it is a nice innocent
gesture. I am happily married and would not "play around' Furthermore, as I am
not a gorgeous lady, I doubt I'll be bothered too much by people looking for
something I'm not prepared to offer....Why do we struggle to paddle upstream while the river is taking us where we need to go? |

My main topic was about this as well... I would like to have friends outside the
flirt zone because I've I just added to it, it has opened a whole can of

to add friends. I feel the Flirt Zone implies other things. But, I guess just
ignore any unwanted msgs. & talk to the people that you feel you could get

who clicked every box that the "Flirt Zone" had to offer just because I thought
it would help me connect with more people - I am not trying to seriously gain a
date out of the site. They have sites for that - they are called "Dating sites".
I really just use it to keep track of people I would like to work with. I really
use it because it is something I am more familar with from Ujenatalent dot com.
We have friends lists on there that I use quite extensively. If I do get a date
out of it I bet I will be more shocked than any of you - lol. It can be just a
tool in your tool bag to help organize yourself. |

I have a fondness for giving flowers to pretty ladies. It just seems innocent
and appropriate. A pretty flower for a pretty flower.
I only gave out a kiss once and Gary never even told me thank you!
Frankly, I use the Flirt Zone basically to see whether or not a member is alive
and kicking and as a pictorial filing system for possible future use if an
appropriate gigs pops up.
It serves me better than the bookmark system. With the Flirt Zone, at least I
know the body twitches. A bookmark does not tell me if a profile is dead or
alive.
Clicking the "friend request" also saves me the trouble of penning a
time-consuming email that may simply end up at a dead account.

Well, I am at the opposite spectrum from gorgeous lady, but people do
not read. They see a gorgeous lady as my avatar and they send me emails
hitting on me!  If they only
knew that I am not in a position to make their fantasies come true. Sometimes I
just ignore, other times I respond back asking if they can keep a secret and if
they know how to stop those gooey red bumps that pop up and itch my crotch once
a month.
